After a short crisis in the 70s, traditional german car manufacturer MBW made a grand return when they revealed a prototype for a new coupe at the 1978 Paris Motor Show.
Following mostly positive reactions MBW made some further improvements and launched their new model two years later, now called the R-series.
Customers got to chose between a healthy variety of new engines, from the 3 l and 3.5 l I6 MBW was famous for, over two flavors of V8, all the way up to an impressive six liter V12.
The car was a success, but would it be enough to revive the former giant?
