I would like to present to you one of the most severe-duty lore friendly armored vehicles available for BeamNG - the MTC83 Heavy Tractor.
This initially started as a small side project back in November of 2024, which just ended up sitting on my computer for a long time despite being one of my highest quality projects.
Since modding isn't really a focus for me anymore, it took me a while to finally pick it up again and add the finishing touches. But at last, the final version of the mod is here on the repository, ready to cause mass destruction!
Comes with several configurations, including a two tractor cab variants, a militarized dump truck, and a water cannon vehicle (riot control vehicle/RCV) - its cannon is currently cosmetic, but its incredible weight between its armor plating and tanker load easily constitutes for, pushing its total weight close to 100,000 pounds when full; nearly a quarter of a typical full-blown freight locomotive's mass. Finally, there's also a special variant that was added as a bonus, I'll let you discover that one
As usual, this mod features several armored components that make it an absolute beast, from a strengthened frame, cab, axles, wheels and more.
Unlike previous mods, however, many (but not all) subtle components that were armored have a modified mesh to correspond to their increased durability - for instance, the rear suspension model has visibly sturdier components:

As the United States expanded its military, there became growing need for armored transporters to deliver military cargo. Gavril, a known truck manufacturer, decided to enter this market by introducing a heavily armored version of their TC83 cabover truck, being labeled as the MTC83. As soon as concepts were presented to the military, Gavril immediately won contracts to start producing such vehicles by commission. This truck was particularity favored due to its flat-nose design, providing significant visibility and maneuverability. In addition, Gavril offered these trucks with the powerful 1100 CUI Belasco-Diesel V8 engine paired to the glorious T1000 turbocharger - with some models receiving a unique T1500 if they needed additional power. After seeing success with their tractor units, Gavril also started offering water cannon and dump trucks based on the same platform, creating some of the most monstrous machines in the military's fleet. This truck was only ever built in a day-cab configuration using a cabover platform as a base due to market demands and practicality.
I should also mention that I think I've fixed the crash-welding issue that was prominent in my other armored vehicles. This means that smashing through things will be smoother than ever

Lmaooo I actually almost made a massive flat bumper span the entire front like the Hauler Custom, but in the end I thought this looked nicer. Now all we need Oppressors to blow it i up ;)
