    ***PLEASE READ***

    REQUIREMENTS/USAGE/PLEASE READ

This mod REQUIRES 440cids "sound selector" mod to function, please bare this in mind when downloading. I have included a NEWER version that now features the bluebuck:

    https://mega.nz/#!7ZUFVIYQ!vTG_d2WSb9ZqhRSSOgo-zAma8-fW_6etJ9Ku_BFEchA

First Time Use Guide (Inside Spoiler):

    1) Install the above linked mod first by dropping it inside your "repo" folder as if manually installing a mod
    2) Download my mod here as normal
    3) Select a relevant vehicle (see below)
    4) Go to "additional modification" slot in parts menu for vehicle (default, CTLR+W)
    5) Select "440cid soundmod selector" addon
    6) Click again on "additional modification"
    7) On this "sound" tab, click the drop down and select my mod and wait
    8) Profit! The sound is now selected, enjoy and use whatever engine specification you want with my sound

I repeat, this mod REQUIRES the use of this tool, for continuity sake, I will not "bundle" it with any of these "addons" I create, to allow people to pick and choose as they please, and, for if 440cid chooses to update it again in the future. For now i will update for a select few MOD cars shortly (Vendetta, Gladiator etc). This also leads into the below disclaimer.

    DISCLAIMER

As always, please do not rate the mod as a means to report bugs or issues or "this doesn't work" without installing 440cids "sound selector" mod. Please post issues, concerns or "its not working!!" comments in discussion or via PM so I can help you. Such reviews will be reported or deleted if they are bug related. You are reviewing the quality of the sound mod, not the "preference" of vehicle you'd like to see the sound applied to, again, use the discussion tab for suggestions. Thanks :).

    Information

For this mod, it's a duel pack! It contains a brand new racing V8 sound with some rather fun burble and offload noises, I've included a video of just distance sounds, and of course, the standard all angles video.

The engine by default idles at around 2000rpm, so you may need to fiddle with "idle rpm" mods to get it to sound a little more settled below 2000rpm, I will try to include a lower RPM sound of around 1500rpm in the future, but for now, I suggest using engines whose idle you can adjust.

It's max RPM is around 7700 rpm so you have lots of room to play with, it sounds mean, fully race inspired with that signature transmission whine throughout, sounds even more at home with a turbo or supercharger. It's no way a stock engine, so again I advise, use this bad boy on a big engine!

You'll notice some interesting characteristics of this sound at certain RPMS, especially around 3-4000rpm and around 7-7500 rpm, such effects are warbling, rattling, metallic clicks and taps and a rich, bassy gurgle. This is because some samples are incredibly long, some as long as 12 seconds, to capture the true essence of the sound across the entire rev range.

Anyway, you'll see what i mean in the vides below, as always, enjoy, feedback welcome as nothing is ever final lol.

All global resources feedback, please see my development thread:

*As always. If anyone feels like the want to contribute sounds from there own vehicles, please get in touch with details of what I require and your vehicle engine sound could well make it in game. See development thread for project vehicles i'm on the hunt for*

Magnificent mod but I have a configuration for the gavril vendetta and the 67cam V8 doesn't have enough power for me so I have to either get stuck with 300+hp or a barely audible 500+cui V8, do you know what could I do so the sound selector recognoizes the vendetta?

      Author's Response
I wish I could answer lol. I've been looking for one for a while, I think it is something that could be easily modded to each engine as perhaps something that reads current RPM and allows adjustment. I'm not sure how it would work myself but I'm sure there are some great modders who could implement it :).
