Experimental Ramp for Flat Top Barge 0.2

What is it?
It's a ramp for the Flat Top Barge mod. Now you don't need a dock or pier to load wheeled vehicles on the barge. The ramp allows you to load and unload on the beach.


Awesome! How do I use it?

1. Download the Flat Top Barge mod.
2. Download the Ramp for Flat Top Barge (this mod).
3. Spawn a Flat Top Barge.
4. Go to the Vehicle Configuration menu, and select the Parts tab.
5. In the Bollards slot, select FTB Bollard Slot Bracket.
6. In the Options->Controls->Vehicle Specific menu, map some controls to raise and lower the ramp. Up and down on the left control stick seems to work well.
7. Get to the beach party.

Headlights
A bonus item on the FTB bollard bracket is a pair of bright headlights. They turn on and off with the normal headlight controls.


Known Shortcomings

• The ramp might not be as stiff as it should be. I'm working on that. If I stiffen the beams too much, then the ramp vibrates or even explodes.
• The ramp might be heavier than it should be. I'm working on that, too. If the nodes are too light, then the ramp vibrates or even explodes.
• The texture is kind of basic. I'm working on that. I managed to get rivets on there. That's not a bad start.
