I love this mod. It's really good, and reminds me of my young 2018 self who would watch videos of the Bolide. By the way guys, outdated Bolide mods work with this car, so you can still get them! Including the Bolide Corse!!!

For Schneeberg in Terrains, Levels, MapsThomas GrafVersion: 1.3- 3/5,
Hey ho, so here's a realistic review:
First of all the map has some good visuals and what i especially love are the german road signs and details like the cateye expansion poles for deep snow visibility, or warning arrows for sharp turns :-) It's cool that you use deep snow physics, but here also lies my first point of criticism...some of the snow banks roadsides are hard as iron...not like frozen, but straight metal instead...and the deep snow is TOO deep according to the visual height of the snow and it has INSANE friction...i tried to drive offroad with a Lada Niva and with a VW T4 Syncro...NO CHANCE...you need to have monster truck sized tires, because as soon the bottom of the car touches the snow, you can't move an inch! Even with a 1400hp/2100Nm stong MonsterTruck and the wheels less than 40% deep into the snow, i wasn't able to shift into 3rd gear without instantly stalling the engine, because of the sticky friction...were talking about 2100Nm torque!!!
(EDIT: I tried with several other mod vehicles and some of them didn't have any sticky friction at all...also some vanilla cars worked on the snow and others didn't...so it depends on the used cars, i guess.)
My next point is, that the general road layout doesn't make ANY sense...it's basicly a lot of twists and turns going nowhere. Serpentines up an hill and down on the other side and back around the hill to where you came from...and without a POI on top of that hill!
My 3rd point is that the general height map could be better. I would suggest to take a REAL WORLD height map and road layout from southern Bavaria or BW and rebuild the map on top of REAL topography and road-layouts, by using google earth/maps.
My last point of criticism are the used building-props...i really love the snow on top of the roofs, but the buildings ALL look the same and nowhere realistic for a germany/austria/swiss-themed map...they are very low detail and and they aren't structured like small towns with roads inbetween. You've spent a lot of time for the road signs, but there are no details at all in the villages, so far.
There are some other small issues, like for example the 2D-png/dds-trees, isntead of ones with more than only 2 crossed layers, but i think most important points have been mentioned.
I'm looking forward to further updates, but you should REALLY consider to completely redo this map. based on real world or at least realstic-ish layouts and height map :-)! -

It’s a cool mod, but sadly it doesn’t work with the current version of the I-Series, the taillight don’t line up with the body.

Love the mod, it was exactly what I was looking for, but when I brake, the wheels lock up and I spin out, like it didn't have ABS... please fix.

Great mod, but improved Script AI compatibility and better handling would be perfect for videos.

Enjoyed it, my only problem is I can't change the gear ratio at all.. Unless I missed it, and if I did I'll switch to five stars! But with the different sizes of some ovals and short tracks, having such short gearing isn't ideal. Thank you!

Author's ResponseShould be able to be changed with both rear ends, Should be under Rear axle, then rear diff.

This mod is incredible! so much detail and care taken in making this mod package. This mod feels like it should be part of the vanilla game its so great. I drive an eaton 18-speed transmission in my truck for work with splitter and range, and this mod works fabulous with a truck shifter add-on for my shifter/wheel/pedals setup. and this feels just like the real thing! I plan to support the creator, and hope they continue to update it through future game updates

I love how this drives its very good, just wishing the system made around 140-160hp like the other midsized sedan hybrids of that era like increase the motor output to MG1 like in the Camry Hybrid, and also on some MPG calculator UI it shows the fuel type as KWH as the main fuel type and I cant see the MPG for some reason, other than that amazing mod
-
Author's ResponseIm glad you liked it! I think it already makes around 140HP and the reason is because its a very early electric motor technology. Since its not vanilla, some ui may not work

hi, I've tried using this mod and every time I attempt to use any of the plates, it just says "no texture" on it and doesn't work properly. I've deleted and reinstalled the mod, tried disabling all of my other mods and restarting the game but nothing worked. I hope for your reply, thank you

i cant turn it off other than the ui but ive tried unsubing ive tried removing the folder via file explorer and is still there it js wont go away (nothing against ur mod ijs cant turn it off as i dont want to turn it off every time i switch cars or reload the game etc)
-
Author's ResponseSorry for the inconvenience. I reproduced your situation by turning off the UI directly, unsubscribing from the mod, and switching vehicles and maps. I'm not sure if you have resolved the issue already, but restarting the game or pressing Ctrl + L to reload the Lua script after deleting the mod can also fix the problem.
Alternatively, you can completely remove the mod by deleting its files. The plugin directory is usually located in the following paths. Make sure you close the game before deleting the mod folder and its configuration files:
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\current\mods\hello2.zip
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\current\mods\repo\hello2.zip
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\current\settings\realtimetrail_settings.json
If the mod hasn’t been unpacked, it will be a file named hello2.zip. If it has been unpacked, the folder will be at:
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\current\mods\unpacked\hello2
I will fix this issue as soon as possible in the next update.
