    To be more specific: the override values for body panels, crankshaft, fuel pump, spark plugs, head gasket and piston rings don't work at all unless you uncheck the Balance Wear. Even then though I get Crankshaft regularly at 0% condition (probably due to weird scaling of the wear for it). There are also issues with Body Panels and Idle Controller also not matching the override values.

    Also, I think the wear could be done differently altogether, seeing how Joe's Junk mod went about junk parts. What if it could be changing values for the part in question, like (in case of an engine) lowering idle RPM, introducing idle roughness, increasing idleRPMstartrate, increasing StarterVolume, inertia, friction etc.? The more worn part is, the more extreme the values.

      Hello,

      I am aware that the Balance Wear option somewhat breaks the override, I plan on reworking the wear system to be more accurate with what the vehicle state actually shows. (For instance the engine shouldnt be able to severly misfire at 65% sparkplug conditions) But yeah, that is the next step for this mod.

      The body panels only works if Deformation is checked. Il probably just make it so it doesn't show if it's disabled because i do agree that it can create some confusion at times.
      The crankshaft is 100% my bad. It's supposed to scale engine friction, where at 0% the engine is(or almost) locked up, but because the exponential formula is straight up wrong, it either shows 99% or 0%. It will be fixed next update.
      The head gasket, connecting rods and piston rings only breaks when below 30% condition. Some parts only shows as "Good" or "Bad" because their damage is simply controlled by a boolean value in the game's code.

      Also, i'm not exactly sure if I understand your suggestion since the wear system is exactly as you suggested. Sparkplugs and Fuelpump causes a misfire, Starter reduces starter torque and startup time, crankshaft increases friction, idle controller increases idle roughness, etc. I didn't put that information in the mod description because i wanted the player to figure them out (and the description would be too long), but when the mod fully releases i will make an updated forum post with all that information.

      Thank you for reporting the bug! However, from what I can see, this mod seems to work fine even in v0.36. Could you please tell me specifically where the problem is occurring?

    When it works its great fun, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work anymore. When its installed on a vehicle it doesn't detect it as installed and the inputs don't work

    The mod doesn't work in the latest version of the game, 0.36.4. It's impossible to drive on the map because the car keeps falling off. The map could use a refresh. Hopefully, the map creator will fix this.

    Very good model and details but the propellors don't start and I don't know why. I have it set to accessories only as instructed and use my normal keys to start the engine however it just doesn't.

    Engines only seem to start at around 180-ish mph (using a separate mod to get it to this speed) and functions good as expected right up until it gets repaired. I believe some additional instruction might be needed.

      Hello!

      Basically, your engine is probably too low on idle RPM and due to that it's making no power where it should start

      Maybe you just need some more power at the low end

      Either ways, if it doesn't work I'd check the torque curve

      So far engines at around 5Nm want to start, if it's at like 3 when you want to start it, it won't start

      Try pushing the car or jump starting it

      If you don't want to use the node grabber:

      Put it in 1st, use the starter (so try to start it), put it in 2nd and keep on using the starter, worst case scenario you might need to do it for the 3rd gear too, or whatever gear allows you to put it in 1st after the starter doesn't make your car accelerate anymore and then it should start right up

      Or just push it while it's in gear

    hey man nice car, its surprizingly fun on the race track ,taking sharp turns and allat

    ts might be a bit much to ask for, but since ive viewed your mod list, i see you have an eye for grand tourers and sports cars
    id like to suggest that you give a shot to making the american equivalent of the grand tourer, the personal luxury car, specifically the 1966 oldsmobile toronado

    Very good map, I remember when I used to play this hundreds of times for the fun. However, ever since the recent BeamNG update has come out, it broke the map.

    That's not the only issue though. After loading in Lake Farsoe, when you try to go to the menu and spawn back into WCUSA, the whole map of WCUSA has missing textures.
