Rock Hater Raceway Short Course .82

Short course racing, for those who hate rocks. Smooth dirt, jumps, berms, whoops.

  1. fixed ground textures

    realized the dirt looked weird because I copied a terrain wrong, finally fixing this on all my maps now, hopefully no more weird boundaries.
  2. Re-uploaded incase mission was broken

    I spent some more time working on updates...

    Once again, a few bumps/etc got smoothed out, and I am playing with adding ONE new feature.

    Biggest part of this update was redoing all of the ground textures for the track to try and make it look a little less crappy, let me know what you think!
  4. More scenery, small track updates

    UPDATE .7!

    Added some more stuff to try and make the track feel less empty.

    Added a few flags & etc... to try and give you more landmarks to gauge your position/speed off of.

    Small tweaks to get rid of some jagged edges and make berms a little smoother.

    Adjusted lips on a couple jumps to try and make them a little less sensitive to speed.

    UPDATE .6

    I Put some more work into rock hater recently...

    I caved and got rid of the concrete at the start.

    Nothing too major but some sections changed a little bit and a lot of terrain got tweaked.

    I spent some time playing with ground models to try and make it a little bit less frustrating to drive. Still have a lot left to do for aesthetics, but the functional drivable parts I think I am about done with.

  6. More course reworks

    per the update title and main page, there have been some more updates.


    Still working on the track itself/driving surface to try and get the terrain all ironed out and cleaned up, once I am happy with the stuff you actually drive on I still need to go back and clean up a lot of visual stuff and decal roads
  7. More scenery, more smoothing, hopefully more better.

    Smoothed out a lot of portions of the track, changed some whoops, and a lot of stuff got wider.

    tried to make everything flow better so its more race-able, took some annoying stuff out to hopefully make it less punishing.

  8. Wider, Faster, Longer, Smoother? Time trial?

    Assuming I packed it right, hopefully theres a time trial now.

    Lot of tweaks to the track, portions got a lot wider, a whoop section got deleted/replaced, and jumps smoothed.

    Should run much better now with the 1x trophy trucks/SST, hopefully a lot easier and more casual/flowey.
  9. removed chicane, minor tweaks to tight parts at end.

    Per update.

    Still sort of taking a sanity break from beam, but poking around at this after walking away for awhile, I was not enjoying the chicane as much as before.

    Tight bit before the last downhill got some bigger berms, trying to play with ideas to make it easier for larger vehicles than the trackfab apache.
