Great mod! is there any way you can make two versions? One with checkpoints and time and one with only one checkpoint? (like your East Coast Dynamic Traffic mod)

Outdated Running Late (Gull) 1.2
Pick a vehicle, and get to town before time runs out! Also, there's traffic...

just a idea about in case of bad luck of crash to delay the end screen to see the crash...and maybe one with more time for slow vehicles

I really like the first idea. I'll do that for the next update!

Very well made mod, that kept me playing Beamng for the whole day. Super fun, good for destruction, speed runs and "casual" driving. I managed to get 1:20 with the F1 formula and 1:33 with the Hirochi SBR4. Definately reccomended.

With 0.15 game update this is running now almost without any kind of lag upon vehicle spawning, perfect 60fps on highest graphics, i7-6700 non K runs this just fine now. Less lag spikes than running game from HDD, so very much worth a revisit for anyone who has not tested this in 0.15

I noticed this too, the game optimizations are amazing. I'm gonna work on an update for this, I got a bit smarter with programming so I can remove some extra Lua trigger objects. I'll probably work on more traffic scenarios later.

Very nice mod, and with my i7-8700k was the minimum 52 fps ! A very good mod!

Great Mod! I added some more difficulty with the Adjustable Fast Motion maxed at 1000%. See if you can bet me! https://youtu.be/IRWez3jSY74

Excellent scenario! After countless tries I finally earned my newspaper headline with a Pigeon Van

Wow. Just... wow.
Damn dude, you sure made those pesky police cars really freaking frustrating lol! I finally got a 1:22:30 with the sunburst Hillclimb edition after what seems to be 15 million retries haha. Its very challenging fun and addicting!
I probably could've gone quicker, because I was being very cautious near the end as that police car always pops out of nowhere for me lol.
I have an i7 2600 in my pc along with a heavily overclocked gtx 970 running on a 3440x1440 screen. The lag was noticeable, but it was playable. ~40fps. My CPU is not the best for beam. It struggles with multiple cars. But it didn't stop me from doing a fast run! Great job on the scenario btw!
I recorded my run if ya wish to see!

Welp, that's the fastest time I've heard of yet! Well done! I saw the video and I'm envious of how smooth it looks, most people were getting worse frame stutters. I love how you dodged the final police car, that was awesome.

*eye twitches* You've... you've really created some extremely frustrating AI in this mod... and I mean that in the best way possible. Those friggin' police cars and drivers randomly turning in front of your car... it can be an amazing challenge on some goes.

LOL! The traffic AI is set to Random, but they still get weird at intersections. The police AI is a mishmash of logic and fakery; I'd love to make it tougher haha. Thanks for the comment!

For me the lag is quite minimal. Certainly not as bad as the description makes it sound! This is another great traffic scenario with a huge potential. Keep up the great work!
You may have toned up the damage tolerance too much. I had a head-on collision (in a sedan) and the scenario kept going. -

Despite the lag this is lots of fun and has replay value too, love the surprises!
I set lowly graphics to have more CPU available, lag was not horribly bad, imo:

Thanks! I watched the video, my PC gets way more lag, lol. I can tell that it's due to the AI initialization. I'm gonna try to modify the AI Lua file (or a related file), we'll see how it goes.
