Very well set up for anyone serious about making a skin. Making maps has given me an advantage over most people that haven't edited .json files before, this can VERY EASILY GO WRONG and it will seem difficult, it is.
I only used the folder called skinname and bits inside it, the custom config isn't needed for making a skin. 15 mins and I put a picture of space on every vehicle. Worst part is renaming all those skin folders lol. Thanks mate!

Just felt like making a basic skin for the Wentward with no previous skinning knowledge for BeamNG other than some very basic skills & this is exactly what I was looking for to get my skin working. Thank you.

very helpful and easy to use. however, after making a skin for the Grand Marshal, the grill and metal underbody of the car are all pastel green.

Very helpful, but BeamNG says "invalid zip" when I put it in the mod folder, am I doing someting wrong? (And yes, the file is a .zip)
-
Author's Response
You don't need to place it in your mod folder. You only need to place your skin in the mod folder. The purpose of this mod is to help you make skins.
Extract the contents modify where needed. Zip your skin back up. Place it in your mod folder. Volia!

I think it's very nice that someone makes the effort to simplify other people's lives. But unfortunately I cannot open the GIMP files :(
-
Author's Response
I use paint.net, not GIMP

Overall very well done I loved it, but I have a question, let's say if I am putting png files onto the UV file of the bolide for example, how do I get to the UV layer to delete it after I put the pngs in place?
-
Author's Response
In paint.net, the UV background should be on a different layer to your skin. Once you complete your skin, just simple delete the UV layer before saving it

I installed it, unpacked it, downloaded it as zip (again). Now i have all the vehicles doubled in the menu and i dont know how to remove them. I know i did it all wrong but i cant remove the mod now i cant see it in BEamNG folder BRUHHHHH
-
Author's Response
1) there is really no need to install it/unpack it, the only thing you really need to do is to extract the zip file.
2) Just uninstall the old version of the mod
3) Enjoy :D

Hey! This is amazing! But might I ask, were do I CTRL + V the files after them? If you want, remove this review and we can use a PM, thanks!

Author's Response
Lmaooooo XD
What I mean is whereever you are making your skin. For example, lets say I was making a skin called goldrush. I would make a folder called goldrush and put it in documents. Then make paste the files.
