With the success of the Bruckell Landscaper and the rebadged Accomack Lansdale, Soliad, the parent company of both brands had decided to tap into a new market that hasn't been realized beforehand, the luxury minivan segment. Their answer was the Countyscape, a more luxurious version of the Lansdale that had even more features and convenience to satisfy families looking for a more upscale experience. Debuting in the fall of 1995, it was a smash hit among families and reviewers alike. The car even won BeamTrend's "Car Of The Year" that same year. The resounding success was enough for Soliad to continue producing and even giving it a facelift until its discontinuation in 2007.
