Around the time the refreshed Landsdale, Landscaper, and Countyscape models were launched, The German marquee AW wanted to get its hands on the minivan market in the United States. The result was a partnership between Bruckell and AW to rebadge the Landscaper into the Strecke. Four trim levels were introduced in the van's launch in late 2003. However, sales fell well under expectations with only 4,000 being sold in model year 2004. In contrast, Countyscape sold well over 125,000 units that same year. Like its cousins, the Strecke was discontinued in 2007, and it was AW's last foray into the van market.
