These spike strips are very good, except for the fact that sometimes, they don't work. Especially at high speeds. You have to place like five of them in a row for them to work sometimes. I did find a fix for this though.
If you unzip the mod, and go to the lua script called "spikeStripGE.lua", and go to line 70, or find the line that says "local scl = {4.830,0.5,0.5}", and replace the two 0.5 numbers at the end of the table with the number 1, so it becomes "local scl = {4.830,1,1}", re-zip the mod, and put it in the BeamNG Drive mods repository folder (obviously replacing the old spike strip zip folder with the modified one), the issues become pretty much non-existent. -

very good mod the only problem i have with it is that they wont pop tires on cars going highway speeds (65 MPH) i've tried it on both mod cars and vanilla cars and got the same affect would really hope this mod gets updated to fix this issue.

Great mod :)
I actually worked on a similar approach for my mod, but I didn't had the time to finish it. The more I'm happy to find out, that you managed it, and that so good. Your approach with the materials is in my opinion really clever ;)
One downside however: your internal mod name conflicts with mine thus breaks both mods. I try to get the people from my mod to yours, but I suggest you change the internal folder names a bit to avoid possible conflicts.
And one more thing: If you have interest in my early prototype of my implementation, send me a direct message and I provide you the code.
Now comes the hard part: keep up the great work for the upcoming years;) -

Excellent mod! works great!
I love this mod! it pops the tires on most vehicles...
I just have one problem, the tires on the T-series and Wentward Bus doesn't get effected when running over the spike strip, any solutions? -

very high quality of detail and not outdated
sugestion: make another one that is heavier that way , it doesn't fly when you pass some fast cars -

As i previously said a very good mod and i waited long for a propper spike stribs mod that look and work poperly and realistikaly :)
but i found a few bugs some are already mentioned
first there is the bug that the next spawned spike strip steals the trigger from the previous spawned one so there is always just one of them working
the next one is if you drive with higher speeds over them 150+ one or 2 tires wont get punktured (usualy the front tires wont) and on rare ocasions even none of them and you drive over them as nothing has happened
so it would be great if you look into that
sidenote: (also could you include an option to deploy them from police cars or in first person mode when you exit a policde car via pressing a buton ? if you could do that it would be awsome ^^ )-
Author's Response
As ive already said, im aware of the issue that you the clone will steal the trigger fix for that will come when the solution will be found. The high speed one however is extremely weird, for the research, could you dm me your average fps in the game and situations that you were using the spike strip on, it could be linked to that based on some testing i did. About the deployables, if i would do it, i would do it right, and that might take some time.

It's great! But I did notice one thing, but it might just be me. When ever I'm driving a car and hit the spike strip at high speed, the tires won't deflate. They only deflate if I'm going 20 or slower. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just a bug?

Love that this one is actually silver compared to the old spike strips (I think one was yellow and black?)
