It's the pretty cool, you get to ram into vehicles without breaking it. But have you considered it to be too strong? like its WAY too strong. Anyways, I hope to see more of these "Armoured" vehicle mods!

Thank you for the feedback!
Yes, it is indeed quite strong, though it will deform a decent amount if you crash it hard enough into a solid object (the last image in the description is the truck after a bit of throwing around, it does take impacts how a real vehicle of its class generally would). It had to be a tough balance, since it can't break too much or it'll be immobilized (i.e. the plow crumples under the front axle and jams the wheels) and would essentially lose its purpose. While I did try to give it somewhat realistic physics, its concept and function took priority in the end.

- 5/5,
Im a big fan of armored vehicles and this hits the spot. Maybe something like this but for other vehicles one day?

Thank you for the review!
An MRAP D-Series has crossed my mind recently, though I'll focus on this for now to get everything smoothed out

Ran a scintilla into it at 200 mph, only the window cracked on the stambecco, while the scintilla was split in half and absolutely destroyed. Nice mod!

Author's Response
Now run the truck into a Scintilla at full speed ;)
Thanks for the review!

- 5/5,
I really like this mod! I've been driving it around, and it is a lot of fun to crash it into other vehicles. It's cool how you added the bolts to the body to make it look armor-plated, and how you added the cage guards to the glass. I think you should give it a completely new engine though, as 2.8 L doesn't sound that interesting. Also, it appears that some parts (such as the side mirrors) aren't reinforced and break off easily. Also, I feel like that when I crash it into a wall, it doesn't break enough due to its weight. Is it supposed to be that strong? Nevertheless, I am having lots of fun with the LAPV. Thank you for such a cool mod!
-
Author's Response
Thanks for the review! Mirrors and sorts aren't armored, as they're considered "non-essential" components, since the primary goal is to protect the occupants. Its structure is supposed to withstand hard impacts very well, especially from the front, as it was also designed to ram and take hits from other vehicles. Otherwise, the plow would just be crushed under the front wheels and instantly immobilize it, kind of defeating its purpose.
Again, thank you for the review, and it is my pleasure to bring you these mods!

This is very nice!
Quick question; Would you also consider making an Austrian Bundesheer-Livery for this?
Cheers!-
Author's Response
Thank you for the review!
I'd definitely consider making tactical skins from different countries if I add any.
From what I've seen, a lot of the vehicles in service with this organization are an unmarked dark green and don't have liveries. I could be mistaken though.

- 5/5,
this is a great mod, now i can plow through almost anything and get by without a single ding in the truck, also, the funny thing about it is that it looks like it gave the Stambecco a set of glasses
-
Author's Response
Thanks for the review! It does look like it has glasses ;)

very nice mod but for some reason the stock LAPV configuration blows it engine 10 seconds after you start driving
-
Author's Response
Thanks for the review! Yes, I am aware of the issue, I accidentally made the configurations spawn with the incorrect long block, which is too weak for the vehicles power. While an update containing a fix is currently pending, just switch the long block out for a stronger one like the Stage 2 Performance, which is what it was supposed to have.

Oh yes - just set AI to "chase" and have fun ;)
D-Series is definitely a candidate for future mods like this

Zee engine blows, does zee driver? Yeah same issue as the others the engine blows in about 30 seconds of driving. Cool mod otherwise.
-
Author's Response
I found the issue. The configuration had a wrong engine block, it will be fixed next update.

- 3/5,
Such an awesome concept, unfortunately I have the same issue as one guy said in the reviews, that it has too much torque and blows the engine up.
-
Author's Response
I forgot to give it a proper engine block. Until next update, add one after spawning

- 5/5,
Is this overtorque damage a problem with the mod or my truck? It's very annoying, I cannot play the mod with it.
-
Author's Response
Will be fixed in the next update. For now, after spawning, manually equip a stage 2 long block and it will work, that's what it was supposed to have.
