Beta Sumter Speedway .9

Dirt oval track in South Carolina

  1. Experimental Pilot :-)
Sumter Speedway is a premier dirt racing venue in South Carolina, known for delivering exciting grassroots motorsports action in a family-friendly atmosphere. Featuring competitive weekly racing programs, special events, and community-centered entertainment, the speedway attracts drivers and fans from across the Southeast. With a rich racing tradition and a commitment to fast-paced competition, Sumter Speedway provides an unforgettable experience for both longtime racing enthusiasts and first-time spectators. The track showcases multiple racing divisions, affordable entertainment, and an energetic environment that celebrates the passion and heritage of dirt track racing.

Unfortunately, BeamNG's AI isn't fast on dirt ovals so that's something that will have to come at a later time.

Mod also includes several configurations for dirt racing in the Grand Marshall, Bolide, Wendover, and Pessima.

This map is a WIP and I'm still waiting to get more up-to-date info from the track itself, so I'll update the map to the most modern version asap :)

I love that we are finally getting maps based on tracks in South Carolina, also i don't know if you do this but, if I could recommend another dirt track, could you possibly try to make Lancaster Speedway? The dirt track in Lancaster SC?

I'm pretty sure you used MapNG to get the base map but I wanted to say this is a PERFECT example of starting small, learning the basics, putting in actual effort (adding props, trees, barriers, etc) before trying out a 16k map. This looks to be a base 512x512 export and I think its a great map that you can still do plenty of work on. Great job!

I used MapNG for the realism it offers in the terrain. If you wanna see what Ive made without using it, search up Buckyville Island and Glacier View Car Launch :D
