Beta The Crash Hard 2.0 Map 1.3

Good!

I am a huge fan of all your work but this has to be the best of the best! I love this map! I can't tell you how many cars I have thrown of that bridge!

I have to give this map 5 stars for the fun I had in what is done so far in this map (roughly half the map is functionally or otherwise feature-complete).
I had a great time for an hour or two (without trying), hauling pianos down the off-road trail in a truck, launching my truck (and said pianos), or sometimes a car off the many jumps, enjoying both the on and off-roading areas, or even jumping heaved sections of roadway.
Then there's the spectacle of the map, or something I feel should be the spectacle, something even I'd be proud to make. That bridge - If that's indeed your bridge, and you've created that from scratch, I'd be proud to have made that for my map. If I sound doubtful about it, it's because you don't often find something quite so nice in user-made maps for this game. That large suspension bridge with the earth opened up beneath it, is pretty darn awesome. I had quite a good time jumping the gap and even landed with a working car on the second or third try. It takes a lot of effort to get a jump perfect in this game, I will vouch for that.
The textures used were very nice and the terrain for the large-part was very well made. It didn't feel like a remix of any of the stock maps and felt fresh, giving me a desire to explore every corner (and pit).
It's nice and invigorating to the senses to see a map that takes to point without deviating from the primary mission objective of the game about soft-body physics - vehicle crashes. I will be happy to say there's plenty of ways to do this. Even if you're just driving around though, you'll be pleased to know that the old tarmac roads are fairly well made (if deliberately not glass-smooth), most turns are banked beautifully with some banked up to 35 degrees for high-speed turns. There's a few very steep spots which make entertainment for the unsuspecting traffic and AI, and sitting and watching the AI plummet when failing a jump never gets old - it's just a shame they don't explode as much as the AI in GTA does :) Here-here for putting way points in at the jumps/gaps.
Lastly, it's nice to see a map big enough to get up to speed, and not be a shoe-box panorama, as often is the case in user-maps you can't get a long-enough straight-away to really top-out the vehicle speed.

That's all I have to say, so 'Great Map' - look forward to seeing the other half finished one day.

nice map dude, i have found a bug when you have the "offroad van" and have next the max speed and crash then its laging much.

Thank you so much for finally releasing this 2.0 map! I have been waiting so long to try out the big broken bridge for myself. I immediately fell in love with it after watching the Offroad Moonhawk video almost a year ago.
