"How hard could designing a car be?"

In Early 1995 an argument sparked between the 25 year old son of an automotive tycoon CEO and his father, millionaires as they were at the time the CEO of Browns Autoworks still believed in building yourself up from nothing and hard work where as his son was more interested in playing Mortal Combat 3 and Suikoden.

At the peak of the argument and in a fit of anger his son yelled "All you do is design cars! How hard could designing a car be!? All you do is slap an engine and wheels in a body and sell it for $56,000!"

It was at that moment that Terrance Brown put his foot down and putting every resource he had to use challenged his own son to design a best selling vehicle.

Coming stock with a large exhaust, racks with lights, fuel cans and improved wheels, tires and suspension the truck was an instant hit with beginner off-road enthusiasts and quickly the initial production of 5000 units sold out despite the limited number of dealerships that had access to them.

Brown Autoworks attempted to launch a version of the truck that was not as expensive to produce but without the wide tires, advanced safety (ABS in 1995) and premium interior it wasn't a good sell and the line was stopped.

The debate still rages well into 2020 weather or not Samuel actually won the argument against his father that day, or if he just baited buyers with expensive options at a base truck price point.

Brown Autoworks was later integrated into Blue where Samuel remains an employee.
