Toyotto 300GTE 1.7

Like the title says, this is a big one. I made a mistake all the way at the start of this project by making the engine and body with the default date (2005) instead of the intended 1997 when the real car was released. To correct this situation, I had to start over from scratch. I made a new engine, put 1997 versions of all the same things in there, and tuned everything to match. I found a new 1997 car body, completely re-molded the shape (to much improvement, I think), completely reworked...

I added steering angle match to the steering wheel. I also got the tachometer, speedometer, and boost gauges reading actual and correct values.

Like the title says, I added a right hand drive interior to match the JDM specs. I tried to emulate the stock Supra dash as closely as I could given the tools available to me. The back seat area is still rough. I also made some small tweaks to the rear trunk lip and wing, the front grill, and I updated the headlights to be a little closer to reality.

Performance-wise, I adjusted the drag coefficient to match the actual car, as well as the total downforce produced. Minor adjustments were...

Big little update this time: To better match the JDM factory specs I: changed the tire diameters, the brake rotor diameters, the brake piston count, the suspension spring rates, the ride height, the alignment (camber and toe), and the final gear ratio of the transmission. Oh, and I paint matched the color to a stock option in '97: Renaissance Red. I also attempted to update the interior somewhat. It's still left hand drive and it's still pretty basic, but I tried.

Lots of little things this update! In terms of part corrections, I changed the rim widths, the differential, and the brake rotors to match a late '97 Supra RZ JDM version with VVT-i. I also changed the compressor and turbine sizing and the AR ratio to exactly match the C20A turbos used on that model. I was also able to tweak some of the other engine tuning parameters to bring the power curves even closer in line with the actual specs. Oh, and I even managed to make the engine sounds louder....

Added factory-correct gear ratios for the V161 6 speed manual gearbox ('97 model with vvti).
