Trackfab Apache 1.3

Lightweight buggy ready for the open desert

  1. TrackpadUser
Note : This mod requires the use of the Racetec Racing Parts pack as well as the Trackfab Offroad Wheels pack otherwise most variants will not have gauges or wheels/tires.

Based on the lightweight 4 cylinder buggies commonly seen in desert racing, the Trackfab Apache is a lightweight RWD buggy powered by a 2L engine taken from the Pessima.

Even with slightly less than 200hp in stock form, the sub 1000kg weight, combined with more than 20 inches of suspension travel makes it quite fast in the open desert. For those wanting more power, you can have the choice of touring car internals for 9000 rpm of 4 cylinder fury, or a V6 with the option for twin turbochargers.

For bug reports and suggestions, please use the forum thread, to centralize all the info in one place where it's easy to discuss.

    Features :
    • 20"+ inches of suspension travel front and rear, with "finely engineered" suspension geometry
    • Lightweight, compact spaceframe chassis
    • Bypass dampers for optimum performance in woops and on larger hits
    • Single and two seater variants. For driving on your own or with a friend.
    • Choice of inline-4 and V-6 engines.
    • Variants optimised for desert racing, short-course, and for general desert shenanigans.

I had so much fun tuning it . if i could give it 6 stars I would, I highly recommend it, it is a blast to drive. nice job trackpaduser i know this is unrelated but you should make a modern trophy truck I would love to see your take on it and yes I know that is going to take a lot of time to do but i would love to see it

Still kinda works but i think the most recent update broke it sadly for there are no more body panels and the v6 and its accesories are now invisible

This car is great but has too much front brake bias (easy to remedy). New wheels from (beam/mod) update make it better. It's almost perfect to drive but be carefully for it is rear engine. On the upside, it is rear engine, meaning if you know what you're doing you can rotate and fling it effortlessly through corners.
This might be my favorite original car mod. It works and puts a smile on my face.
