Overhaul of Police behaviour in any free-roam map!

    Load any Freeroam map and 'Take a Ride'. Traffic switches to 1970s cars and cops start patrolling.

    In game the mod goes by 'Undercover Wheelman': that's the name you'll see on its apps and controls.

    Features:
    • Felony system
    • Six felony levels.
    • An offence only counts if a cop sees it.
    • Felony fades slowly
    • Performance modes

      Set from the radial menu (Traffic → Performance mode). The choice is saved and applies the next time you start Take a Ride.
      Off: full fat stock cars.
      Lite:
      - simplified traffic
      - stock police stripped of small extras, so they handle exactly as stock
      - simplified roadblock cars
      Simplified:
      - simplified traffic and police
      - built like BeamNG's own simplified traffic: about 1,000–1,200 beams instead of about 5,000
      - keeps each car's stock looks, engine, sound, livery, lights and siren, and weighs, accelerates and brakes close to stock
      - about 2.6× faster than Off in a maxed chase

    HUD

    - DAMAGE and FELONY bars
    - Radar:
    - heading-up, showing roads, cops, their vision cones and a destination
    - looks further ahead and zooms out as you speed up
    - looks behind when you reverse
    - 1970s strip speedometer with a rev strip, gear indicator, warning lamps and a drum odometer.


    Version 1.0: the free-roam pursuit mode.

    Known Faults:
    -simplified traffic spawning as damaged and not moving
