Sick of the wierd drifting physics ? No problemo.

As long as you have a wheel and have practiced in AC, you're good to go.

This is the mod you need.

Really feels like drifting on AC with this mod enabled. G29 wheel. Highly recommend.

Big win Checking in with a DD2 and long time Assetto player. I have been waiting to share beamng drifting with my buddies who drive IRL. And this sorcery is just what was needed to bring tandem fun to Beam.ng. HMU if you ever want doors. Good work.

It really changes the whole drift feeling, but what exactly the mod changes and should you disable it while playing on gamepad?

It doesn’t steer the car for you or modify your steering input. It keeps BeamNG’s native rack FFB, then adds a limited self-aligning force during oversteer, based on the difference between the actual front-wheel angle and the direction the front axle naturally wants to follow.

It also slightly increases rear sliding grip, not static grip, so the rear tires lose traction more progressively instead of going from full grip to almost nothing instantly.

On a steering wheel, keep it enabled. On gamepad, I’d recommend disabling it for now: the FFB part has no real purpose there, while the rear-grip adjustment would still change the handling. However it does not affect the drift feeling on gamepad .
