Xero Parklands 2.3.6.

Just an very well-made and expansive map with a hell of a lot of things to do. Contains probably the flattest race track I've ever seen which is novel if nothing else TBH

I just discovered this map, and all I have to say is just WOW! I can't imagine the amount of time this took to build. The majority of the AI races or spot on. They are hard, and they AI seems to know what its doing. There is so much to do, and see. This is the level that everyone should strive to achieve.

i like it but poorly optimized

after downloading the latest version and doing a deep cache cleaning it started working without issues. also the map is amazing great job

re-reviewing as this has quickly become my favorite map and it is well worth the 5 stars however i also thought i would mention that some of the beige rocks nearby the abandoned mill in the canyon are extremely and unrealistically sticky and will rip a wheel or axle off... additionally the "North Trail" time trial is broken for me

Now with working minimap still much better - thanks for fixing! It´s useful for finding the little roads and tracks you have not yet explored!

been looking for something like this for awhile, excellent work, map would be perfect if the mud was actually challenging (deep and sticky) and not just normal mud surface underr deep water... a good example of this would be the mud on motorsports playground

Not sure what rhyyysss is having an issue with, it works just fine for me. Maybe they should try clearing their cache.

It always amazes me how much content and different roads can be put in such a (relatively) small area. Now even better looking! You can spend ages just exploring, and another ages doing all the missions, time-trials and rally stages. In other words: if you have this map, you don´t need any other!

Stuck when loaded complete, dont dissepear the loading , but the world and car is loaded behind

Great map! It´s amazing how much content is included, and how this feels like a much bigger map when driving. Very well done! One remark: on my system, it doesn´t open when Daddelzeit´s Minimap is active.

This is an excellent map to experience, especially because of the amount of missions it includes. I really enjoyed the AI racing ones.

There's a few things to note though:
1. For some reason this map breaks the scenarios tab, a patchwork solution for users right now is just to remove it from the mods folder if you aren't using it and want to use scenarios.

2. The AI unfortunately still has no awareness for cars next to it, which leads to some quite frustrating moments in certain missions. In some of them its behaviour is also completely idiotic and leads to, for eg. every single car crashing out. Of course, due to the nature of the game itself, it's very random. Hopefully the game developers address this issue at some point, considering the simracing aspect of the game has really exploded in popularity lately.

I also feel that generally the first 2 races for each category kind of feel like a slog because of their easy difficulty and/or the amount of laps you are required to complete on these small courses.

3. I'm not sure if it's a mod conflict, but the Grand Marshall vs Bastion chase mission is bugged, as the Bastion refuses to run away from the driver. The solution is to choose the "flee" option in the games radial menu.


The map itself is very well thought out and the courses it includes are very fun to drive. It's definitely one of the best mod maps available on the repo, and it includes something for every type of competition that the current vanilla car roster can provide.

My suggestion would be to add some modded car races as a separate download, for eg. I think that a race including either Formula Ibishu or the Carbonworks F4, as well as the NASCAR car made by Solarpower would very much fit with the idea of the map.

i removed and redownloaded it and didn't work, i tried everything but nothing works!

Full transparency: I haven't tried any of the other tracks yet, but the full road course is absolutely incredible to drive - to the point it automatically makes this map worth five stars IMO. It's comprised mostly of slow corners - 90-degree turns, sharp hairpins, that sort of thing - which I don't usually gel with. However! The way Xero's road course links them together is immensely satisfying, and the chicanes I've tested (I skip the second one) feel amazing to take quickly. I could rant about this track for hours, just like I could drive it for hours. Download it. You won't regret it. This place is a blast

Literally cant name a better map. the update is great and i hope it continues in this direction. the only problem is the black patches around everything but otherwise mint
