Broke it how? Laying new non AI roads should not affect the traffic. Changing the drivability on old roads can disrupt the AI routes so traffic...
Thanks Agent_Y, I forgot to mention. Save and restart the map. Usually pressing Ctrl+L after the AI changes also works.
