i don't think they get deleted. my settings (video settings) gets reseted, but my PS3 controller's inputmap doesn't get removed.

its probably caused by your internet or BeamNG's servers. either your internet is overloaded and needs to be slowed down (by closing un-needed...
i guess either the servers were overloaded or your internet was. try closing down everything which might run open and steal some internet speed....
