Yeah, there's no doubt the i7 will be better but the i5 is more affordable, maybe a decent upgrade later on though ;)
I might get a i5-3470 and a HD 7930 (7870 on Tahiti LE instead of pitcairn) instead of a FX-8350 and XFX 7950.
Has an anyone got a FX-8350 specifically? Or at least a FX-83XX series CPU that could share their performance?
Yes, you get all future update and the full game when it comes out.
Oh, right.
Why?!?! The GTX580 is much faster.
AMD isn't well optimised in BeamNG and there are many threads complaining about it. It's not that the CPUs are bad it's that the single threaded...
Let me know how that CPU runs BeamNG since I might be getting it ;)
Oh, the numbers are so similar I get confused in that case get a 1150.
If you haven't bought your motherboard try to get the new LGA 1150 or you wont't have an upgrade path ;) As for AMD I guess I'll just save up for...
There really not that bad and if I went to buy an Intel I'd have to get the latest series that use the new LGA1150 socket which is expensive.
Wow, yeah your CPU is too slow. I guess you'll have to wait until AMD CPUs are better supported
By how much does your FPS go up? J stops the physics which means theres less load on your CPU. This can be used to check if your CPU is too slow....
Do any AMD FX users get more than 60 fps in BeamNG? I was thinking of buying a computer and apparently the performance isn't very good in BeamNG...
I'd suggest getting a recent Intel CPU for BeamNG because AMD isn't as optimised for it.
What CPU did you get?
Unfortunately the game isn't very optimised for AMD CPUs. Try pressing "J" in-game and see if your FPS increases.
What are your specs?
You have to buy the game to access those forums :)
I know :p but it's just a sandbox right now so it doesn't actually matter, and it'll probably be patched soon anyway. - - - Updated - - - I...
