Yes, suspension noises are a lot louder in this update. Maybe too loud imo.
Try a complete reinstall. I had a similar problem, and a complete reinstall fixed it.
I'm missing metric gauges for all vehicles. Ice/snow tires is something that's needed on winter maps.

I tried reinstalling the game via Steam, but it didn't help.

Windows wanted to install updates. So I let the computer install updates and then shut down. I start the pc again, log into steam, and start BNG....
