Actually I do like the idea of the aggression factor, it's good but it's overdone, it should fall a bit quicker as the behaviour of the aggression factor is as if the car was in Sport Mode, so maybe for the next update control the speed the aggression factor falls in Sport and Drive gearbox modes, because in real life a car will still up shift in S mode, it won't stay at that high revs like it does in Beam

So basically, they're the same type of car, just with a different verbal wrapper. Got it.

I am getting stuck on the loading screen after selecting a map in freeroam. Gets stuck in "Spawning player..." , I can hear the car and control it but it's still in the loading screen.
I have all mods disabled and cleared the cache.

Btw, should that valve damage happen so soon ? Right now, you only need to overrev the engine for about 5-7 seconds to damage those and can happen with any old car in the game.

What kind of cars are you basing these experiences upon? Because atm the logic easily behaves like modern ZF8 transmissions (like used in the recent BMW models).

Yea, overrevving your engine far enough is a serious thing, it does very bad things kinda quickly. No doubt you can find the odd the engine that can be overrevved forever without taking damage, but that would be the exception, not the rule.

True, but I've overrevved some engines in real life and they can take that for minutes. So in that point of view, the engine damage in the game happens perhaps too quickly. But if you think that this is right, I just need to be careful with the pedal. :p

Keep in mind that not only the time plays a role, much more important is how far you overrev. It actually has a threshold where nothing happens, 5% by default I think, but past that it gets progressively worse.

I think a overrev should be part of the game... it's something that can happen. I guess you could make it an option that it has built in overrev protection (software side) for keyboard players (like me) or just people who likes to push it.

Well then... why is Realistic not doing its job of letting us overrev? :p
For those who likes shifting themselves... apparently watch out for overreving.

Well most engines have built-in rev limiters, only older engines don't and then they might not be able to naturally overrev far enough to get much damage.
Try the top model Bolide for a definitely overrevving example :)

I did it with the T-Series suspended in the air. It can't run without holding the accelerator.

It's a bit odd, that if you use Realistic gearbox behaviour, the overreving happens. There should be separate overrev limiter option in the menu. :)
