    "idleRPMRoughness" in the combustionEngine section, defaults to 50 (rpm) atm, however do not expect it to vary by 50 rpm, if set to 50, it's just the limit.

    Another thing that is not new but just found it now, the carbureted i4 in the Covet just uses the fuel injected engine model.

    The ''Gearbox safety assistant'' and/or ''Clutch assistant'' settings doesn't work properly after loading another map after first one.

    Otherwise good update and the sounds are good after the old ones, it would be good if sounds in hoppers cocpit view would be different with and without the roof

    Awesome update, but I feel the Dynamic sounds for the vehicle are backwards. I think the more muffled sound should be in the front instead of the back.

    If the reworked AI means that the AI in Random is now not trying to crash into anything, can we get some sort of "Banger" mode, that would have the AI just plow forward, except for crashes - after a crash, it would reverse for a bit and keep on going where it was going?

    Tip-start needs to be implemented. In older cars, if you quickly turn the key, the starter will blip. If you push v in game quickly, the engine will start as if it had tip start. That should only be for newer cars.

    Overall good update, especially like the stretching being addressed. I don't like the new node grabber. Aesthetically it's better, but not being able to stick a node where it is, is frustrating. Trying to stick a group of connected nodes now results in the nodes pulling in different directions, causing the vehicle to vibrate, or carefully place the nodes so they don't attempt to couple or pull too much.

    problem with automatic gear shifting version 0.10 the old version 0.9 the automatic gear was smart when i am not using full throttle (like 40% of throttle) the gear shift to next gear because the gear try not make rpm too high for no purpose and when i go like 80km and the gear on gear 4 and i hit full throttle the gear shift down ( like from gear 4 to gear 2 ) to make use of the engine full power
    but in 0.10 when i use like 40% throttle the gear wont shift to next gear i hope you guys fix it and great update.

    It actually does that since 0.10 as far as I know.
    The game calculates the 'aggression' on the accelerator pedal, and shift accordingly (ie. if pedal is slightly pressed, aggression is low, shifting will happen earlier to keep RPM low).

    absolutley crazy how smooth my framerate without vsync!!!(cuz i hate it :D)
    i7 2600k and 780Ti and ramdisk)

    i think no more edge in car feeling's while driving really fast(sbr4 hillclimb with ABS\TC\ESC). i think i can improve my time on eastcoast loop)

    don't like interior sound filter
    in 'japanese' car's it sound bad) too much mid band....

    I hate the current i4 idle sound and older V8 sound is kinda disappointing but given that sounds are still WIP, I can only see things are getting better from now on. Kudos on the i6, V6, and tyre screech sound though!

    I also like the concept that now sound is defined per engine, not per car. But this has killed sound mods since they now have to include a custom engine.

    Is it just me or cars don't perform/handle as sharp as it used to be?

    it still sharp)) but tyres decrease these feel

    also throttle steel feel unrealistic..


    for example etk 800 feels like audi a4(B8) long equiped with bridgestone my02(flat spot road path)

    I have verified integrity, cleared cache and used Safe Mode, but for some reason I can only get 3 camera modes - orbit, driver (which now shows up in the game as "onboard.driver", and hood (or the game now calls it "onboard.hood" for me).

    Anyway, I really like the new sounds :)

    Is it the effect of what the devs mentioned "new tire and suspension tuning"?

    Throttle feels kinda lagging. I believe it's the new flywheel options that caused it.

    i think this game right now have taste of sim))
    imho in some part' of simulating it better than LFS...
    cuz LFS not simulating suspension bushing and many other thing's but tyre physic still better in LFS.

    Do you mean while cycling the camera modes with C?
    Or in the Options > Camera menu?

    If C, then it depends on which mods you have enabled in the camera menu.

    @Diamondback , apparently this bug keeps coming after and after. I've deleted my settings several times, and yeah, that fix does work for a while, but after a short time (15-25 minutes) it comes back. And yes, I've tried safe mode and cleared cache several times.

    How do you use the thumbnail generator? The map it takes you to doesn't have reflections, what size should you use, and how do you select the configs you want to take?
