It's been mentioned and is in the OP, but it helps to have more confirmation.
I've noticed a couple of things with the neighborhood. First, there is grass in quite a few driveways. Second, the garage doors on certain houses is weird and you can see through the edges of them. Third, no driveways on a couple of houses. Overall this is an amazing update. I've been extremely excited ever since the first post about WCUSA got released. I am getting 75-120 FPS with one or two cars spawned on an i7 6700k, 16GB RAM and a GTX 970, but only in full screen mode. When in windowed mode at 144hz, everything is choppy but my fps counter still shows high fps. I am 99% sure it wasn't choppy like that before the update. Also, I'd really love if y'all added actual slopes on the driveways in the neighborhood.
Just passing through with some good news for once, at least performance wise:
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M
WCUSA gets an average of 35 - 48FPS with everything enabled except SSAO and Dynamic Reflections. So no issues there.
Everything looks great, props to you guys. Engines exploding from torque was a pleasantly unexpected surprise that scared the devil out of me.
Framerate drops severely after changing parts sometimes?
Will the blocked off sections in West Coast USA be completed in the future? It seems a little but incomplete at the moment.
great update. a couple bugs that can be sorted out though:
when variable turbos get in higher boost ranges (30-40psi) they get super loud.
BOV sound bug , someone added a video of it in the discussion
overall i like this update. maybe in the future we could get anti-lag or our own adjustable rev limiters. i like where this game is going! backfires are sweet!! keep up the good work guys.
Both are known
Thank you for the very nice update! It crashed the first time I spawned west coast, but clearing cache fixed that. The frame rates on WC seem to be as good as the other maps on my antique computer. It's a wonderful map to explore in the Super Gnat.
Im glad to hear the volume levels on the turbo is being fixed. Is it possible to give turbos there own volume slider?
Looking forward to trying a heavy trailer on the semi. Love the torque twist!
The spoiler of the bolide is invisible, but you can see it using the nodegrabber.
Anyone know why it studders really bad for me?
What are your PC specs?
I know you guys say the map was worth the hype and wait. boy where you right. So far played 7 minutes ( times ) on the out skirts of the map. Fps seems around 60. in city 50/40 If its very bad 35 with one car. But 10/10 job. Sit chill have a beer. you deserve it . Nitro re minds me of SLR redline from 2003 ( i think that was its name ) haven't tried horn or Siren yet. But am 99% sure i will love it.
No Bugs as of yet. But i only just started playing it.
I am not sure if anyone else has listed it but I save a preset and when I go to load that said preset it loads up like it didn't save what I had done to the vehicle.
After about 30 seconds to 1 minute after opening the game it just crashes, i did a clean reinstall and its still happening.
Edit: No bug, just a breaking file. This post can be deleted.
Errr, all I want is some gas.
Nice touch! The clock actually works!
a couple road to bridge issues at the race track on WCUSA plus the bridge doesn't match the rest of the road
Because of this:
it's basically confirmed not finished.
T-Series has ABS now?
This building is nowhere near big enough to be a car barn....
Neither is this one.
This road marking makes no sense... do the cable cars get the entire road?
And these cable car lines are a bit nonsensical. Both ends terminate inside a car barn with no visible turnarounds, except this one goes off the map... it better loop.
And these signs say "no left turn except on green arrow" but the light isn't an arrow.
Also on the bright side a cable car vehicle would be epic.
