I just tested this in real life, and even at the 98mph limiter of my friends truck, it didn’t warble at all, and that leads me to believe that it’s something to do with the position updating of the object that produces the sound.
I don't seem to notice that? (60fps, the recorder was not stable and at 30fps) Video - Click to Play - Direct Link
Thank you, this was the key. Simply hovering the mouse over the parts list triggers the bug (something I never did in my attempts). It will be fixed in some future update
Hi folks. Been meaning to post this for a while, but I've noticed a bug that I'm not sure anyone else has noticed yet(I may be mistaken, though); it seems that ever since the update came out, the regular T-Series engine has now sounded like the Wentward bus. And, just as a helpful bit of clarification, I did check to make sure that a mod wasn't causing the problem, by loading everything in Safe Mode. But the T-Series still sounded like the Wentward anyway.....so, yeah, not sure what else could be the problem(unless I'm missing something, which is always possible). Hopefully this can be fixed soon!
This too is a feature, it's using the straight 6 diesel soundtrack, like the bus. The engines are quite similar anyway.
The third hotfix is online http://blog.beamng.com/5th-year-anniversary-hotfix-thank-you/ For now, please only report for 0.13.0.4 ! Happy birthday !!
Oh boy, what have you gone to do to that FFB!!!?? It is so, so, PERFECT! Now you claimed that you did not make any special birthday content, but this FFB upgrade (not update, upgrade) is probably one of the best birthday presents that you could imagine for BeamNG, it is like changing whole game. Now Drift missile config of at least H-series is working properly, while before it was like in glue or syrup to both ways when trying to countersteer, now there is proper countersteering effect and it is really responsive, detailed and FAST! What an incredible update again, you are the best!
Glad to see you like it! A lot of mental and physical sweat from the team has gone into making it happen
As of the latest update, configurations don't have a red box around them when selected in the menu? Not sure if this is intended behavior but it seems an odd change to make if it was. You can't see my mouse of anything in the screenshot, but I've selected the configuration but the red box isn't around it like it used to be. Other than that though, it's another amazing hotfix for the game
FLASHING WARNING!!!!! hey guys have been having a few problems with the game at the moment. The game objects and things around the map start to spike in strange ways. This only started after updating my driver to use a vr beta on oculus. Ignore the jerkiness also suffering from frame rate as swell after updating drivers and cheap recording software.(AMD said they were better Drivers PFFFF!) (= Also happens on all maps just the city suffers the most. Little specs list: AMD RX570 Intel i5 7400K 8GB ram If any one has the same issue or can give help would be Awesome As I love this game SOOO much And would love to play again. Devs.… KEEP IT UP ABSALUTALY LOVING YOUR CONTENT!!!!
I believe this is an issue with the latest AMD driver. I suggest downgrading to an older version, and wait until there's a new driver update.
Interesting update, though it seems that the T-Series still sounds like the Wentward bus. The engines didn't really sound all that similar, TBH(even if they were both diesels), but that's besides the point. If this bit really was an intended feature, then why hadn't this been mentioned, at all, in any of the updates from July 13th onwards? That would be a pretty big thing to leave out, especially given that the devs have always let us know when changes were made to engine sounds, since we started getting the new ones last August; so, with that, it honestly doesn't make too much sense that they would suddenly choose not to inform us of a rather noticeable change like this.(I mean, yes, it's always possible, but I'd honestly be a bit shocked.)
Thanks mate. Thouhgt if may be just making sure if any one els had the same issue. but will see what i can do about it
true, but the T series sound was a placeholder, it used the i6 ETK sound and hence didn't really sound all that great compared to real life, the wentward audio is much closer to real life.
