That's not bloom, but the flares. This is mentioned in the first post already. We haven't got around tuning them yet. With the new optimization it should matter more, as the game now uses more cores to load stuff. While before there would not be much difference as the bottleneck was elsewhere. The one we tested were done on an average Crucial SSD (MX100). There are other similar configuration to that, so that old one was removed. You can still recreate it on your own, as the parts are available. There were changes on the entire level, so is possible that some slight changes were made to that road.
Im getting that orange heaven too, or rather low gammad? Ive tried it on two computers since i have a history of modding lighting myself and it might leave some residue when i update. So... I get it on the clean install but only if i untick then tick the PostFx enable/disable box and meanwhile it looks dark and overcolorful i cant see a result of changin any/most PostFx settings. Meanhile it is this way i can change gamma and if i set it to about 1.5 it looks similar to the latest screenshots, it think. BUT if i click the Debug box in PostFx - HDR (so the image gets grey) while its dark and then unclick it again my game looks as i guess its supposed too, also the PostFx window works again. Managed to replicate twice ingame by unticking then ticking the PostFx enalbe box and then the same with the Debug box. I had similar problems a while ago when i was modding/playing around with the gamma files and Postfxmanager.gui or one of those files. Did remember that it used to give a result if i unticked and ticked the PostFx enable box, guess it reloads something.
Utah: The sunken bus stop near the tourist building: The 2 bus stop at green peak have a different signage: And the bus route spawn outside the repair station:
The road is simply too small. Below a certain width, the AI stops keeping the side. We could make it a one-way road or so.
Now this is interesting: I have two drives, both SSD's. The main one (C) is 250 Gb Samsung Evo 850, where I have OS and most of the programs. However, I have second drive (D), 1 Tb Samsung QVO 860, where I have all my games installed. Beam was installed on that D-drive, while mods and user settings were in the default location in C-drive. I uninstalled the game from D-drive, and manually deleted the whole game folder from there and reinstalled it on the Steam's default folder in C-drive. Results were stunning: 150 sec --> 35 sec. And all I did was to load up freeeroam in West Coast, Chinatown as the spawn spot. So, seems that the game doesn't like to be on that second drive at all, and makes all kinds of trouble because of that. I doubt that the drive is to blame, since I have lots of other, massive games over there that doesn't suffer from this or have any sort of issues.
@Speedster202 I'm not able to reproduce (3) with the extended D's I've tested - can you confirm what you mean by 'Regular' please, and also make sure you have no mods installed. --- Post updated --- @AnOrangeHellcat Thank you, confirmed. The vehicle guys will fix the sound emitter location for the interior sounds.
Headlights are now strangely inconsistent. I don't have a screenshot, but the Burnside's headlights are so dim you can barely see them (was this an intentional change?) Additionally, a large number of cars' lights don't get brighter when the high beams are turned on, which means the high beam switch basically does nothing. I might try and make a small mod out of this later, but for now, here's some old pickup configs for those who were complaining (mostly Shotgun Chuck, because even though I disagree with your views on pretty much everything, I like being able to provide things to people). You can make the D25/D35 short bed configs yourself. I have not tested these in 0.18 yet, but I know at least a couple will need to be renamed to avoid conflicting.
Well, I'd figured I'd go ahead and report a curve sign issue. I have reported this issue before, but I figured I would report this issue in a better way. If you don't know what this issue is, it's a right curve on a curve that is going left. This curve sign is on a road that goes off route 2 of East Coast USA. It is not that far from the town gas station. This curve sign issue road also goes a under a bridge just past the curve sign (at least in the direction this shot goes in). By the way, there is a road with a bridge the curve sign issue road goes under that you can take off Route 2 of East Coast USA into a town. By the way, I have another issue to report. This is a traffic light issue in West Coast USA at night. It is not that far from the gas station intersection in West Coast USA.
D Series bugs:1) Radiator support can't be completly deattached from the body. 2) The D25 Lifted variant uses a 5.5l V8, which in my case uses the old engine sound from v0.10 3) After a few jumps at low speed, the 4-Link Live Axle front suspension deforms to a point that I can't drive straight anymore. 4) It's really hard to separate the cab from the chassis if we compare how easy it is with the Bluebuck or the Burnside Special. 5) The short frame/unibody lacks a camper shell.
this could just be a feature and not a bug but since when was the gauge cluster on the sbr4 always on? it seems weird that it's the only car (that i can think of off the top of my head) that doesn't change the lighting when the lights are turned on
Starting with version 17 of the game, the “Chase Mode” does not work fully. The car chases me very slowly and when it approaches me it slows down. No method has helped, reinstalling the game, deleting the cache, starting the game in safe mode (with default mods), reinstalling windows. How can this be? I can not fully play the game
New update plays well on the whole, I am not entirely sure about the gear whine implementation however - most manual cars have a slight whine in lower gears (loudest in 1st, gets quieter after that) which isn't replicated here (this seems to be more of an output shaft speed related noise). It would be extra good if there was some accounting for gear position as well as speed for gear whine. (I'm also not sure about the thumbnail lighting issues, but I see that has been reported and replied to already)
With every update you amaze me. The new lighting is just Amazing even if the thumbnail are not that good (but it has already been reported). As I reported for the Bluebuck back when 0.17 was released, it seems that the stuff in the engine bay for the D-Series and Roamer disappears after a collision. This doesn't seem to affect the H-Series. If I'll find more bugs you can be sure I'll post them.
It's there, but the vehicle designers haven't spent any time tweaking this yet so still very much default values stuck in at the moment. I know @Diamondback will be pleased you hear you pick up on this.
That makes sense, thanks! I look forward to seeing (or should that be hearing) it implemented (The depth of my nerdism knows almost no bounds )
Same issue here. Have any idea if it´s a conflicting mod? I tried to remove all the D-series mods i could find, due to the update.
