0.25 Cannon Mission Game Issue

While trying the Cannon Delivery Destruction mission on Utah, the mission ends as soon as I click Start. It never even changes view nor loads the cannon, etc. After two attempts, I decided to change my vehicle to the cannon and then try again. After getting the same results, I opted to simply "Continue" after the auto-success. I then spawned under the map and the screen grew darker and darker (as if I were stuck in a massive banding situation). I couldn't pull up any menus and eventually just used ALT-F4 to quit out of the game.

A similar thing happened to me with the cannon mission on East Coast USA. The mission would place the camera far under the map and tell me that there were no cannons left, then fail.
