Pretty sure it's to make it easier to look at the interior when stopped and at the same time keep the speed requirement when you drive and wanna look left or right, when you drive and look at your interior irl at a stoplight you glance over your interior or what's happening outside but doing it slowly but once you drive you look at your mirrors in a snappy maner, i'm pretty sure it's intended and i'm happy it works like this now

@samcar330 Discovered that the sound is supposed to be gearbox whine, and they're totally correct!

Here is a comparison between the factory 7-speed DCT, and the optional Race six speed sequential.



The sound seems to only play on the factory 7-speed DCT, and not on the Race Six Speed Sequential. This is odd, since normally a race-built transmission would have much more whine as it would have straight cut gears and no sound deadening, since they would favor lightness and sound deadening adds weight.

Either way the sound still sounds glitched out, since It sounds like a digitized spaceship taking off into orbit rather than gear whine.

 

What's the new license plate design called? I can't seem to find it
