    I haven't noticed anyone mention the blacked out windows on buildings in Utah, also found a broken texture on broken foglights equipped to the D-Series Zeta config.

    Both issues persisted in safe mode.

    I can’t find the know issue thread and don’t remember someone mentioning it but the police on Johnson Valley does not only spawn to often (half of the cars are police), they always try to arrest me for reckless driving, even though I’m standing still or driving on the highway with 50 kph and it’s no cars near me. I don’t know if it’s the same on other maps

    After the 0.27 update walk mode was not working for me, after a bit of investigating as to why I've found that enabling OutGage support will break walk mode
    as can be seen here:

    • Autobello Piccolina Baja Extreme has a value of 1.1 million credits and model years 1957-1963 (compared to the Unlimited Class 5 which has model years 2018-2022) and neither SP vehicle has any vehicle credit values.
    • The new Hopper configs have some incorrect info in the vehicle selector. For example, the Gecko is named "Gecko (A)" but has a manual transmission
    • Wydra has no model years
    • In the garage mode all license plates are either blank or say "super pig". Even some thumbnails has "super pig", such as the main selector menu's thumbnails for the Piccolina, FCV, and Bolide
    • Is there a reason the SBR Piccobuggy swap has the exhaust as a sub-part of the intake? Is that just how the plumbing worked out? It's kinda weird to find when looking for the exhaust

    Many recent vehicles in BeamNG have the exhaust as a sub part of the intake because, if you have a turbocharger, the exhaust manifold also needs to change.

    Some engines do have "engine breaks" beams that destroy the engine when they are "bend".


    Compared to reality, BeamNGs engine are more durable because

    • Fuel lines, ignition cables, physical ECU are all not simulated. Meaning that if you want to seize the engine, it needs direct physical damage to the block and even that only works with the engine break beams.
    • There is no safety switch that cuts off petrol in case of a crash
    • Broken drivetrain components in the game set the engine free (it can rev up to the maximum because there is no resistance anymore as power does not reach the wheels anymore). In reality, a crash severe enough to destroy shafts will likely lead to that shafts biting into the crumbled chassis parts, locking it and the engine up instantly.
    • Connection between accelerator pedal and throttle is likely not going to survive either, neither is the throttle and air intake itself depending on the crash.

    I don't know if it's been reported already but the "Alleyway Hillclimb" time trial in West Coast, USA has a picture of the Autobuggy but when you start the mission it puts you in the base model Piccolina I'm sure this isn't right because it's impossible to get 3 stars with the base model. Tested in safe mode.

    On that topic I'd love more options for engine and electronics wear/damage like ABS faults, the starter motor not working or misfires. Would be fun to experience that during say, a BeamMP endurance race.

    Look up a Pinzgauer. It’s likely somewhat inspired by that and a number of other similar vehicles.

    Me being a dumb American having no real interest in that time period of euro vans - light trucks. Most Euro spec vans (and in general) are basically the same thing with just different badging.

    In the Johnson Valley map, the road speed limit is set far too low. The AI traffic drives at 35mph while in real life that would be a 55mph-75mph stretch of road. The police also come after you for driving anything over that low speed parameter. That makes game play with police unrealistic.

    Plus there should be more dotted lines for passing for those of us who try to follow the rules :) The double yellow lines are in areas that would be passing zones in real life.

    Every time attack on Small Island uses a Hirochi SBR4 too, including the one that might as well be a crawl. Proposed vehicles for time trials are a fairly new thing this update and I think a lot of the cars as set are still placeholders.
