The standard shift order for EVs (at least in North America, and I'm 99% sure Europe) is PRND; the game is designed to mimic that :)

Why on earth would you be shifting with throttle input? o_O

Could you explain why you didn't add the campervan as a vehicle like I did?

    Other weird issue (maybe?)

The 200bx's lights (on high beams) are for some reason brighter and farther reaching when another vehicle is selected. In the gif below, you can see that when I tab over to the Sunburst (still invisible; indicated by the text at the bottom of the image), the 200bx's headlights change to a brighter farther reaching spotlight. Curiously, the same is not true for the Sunburst (also on high beams), as its headlights see no changes.

I think the Stambecco could do with some cargo options, no? Some kind of load for it to carry? A trailer would also suffice, but most of those are too low to be towed safely... there is also instability when connecting the large box trailer.

Also couldn't help but notice the model numbers go straight from 505 to 525, is there a 515 waiting to be released too?

Finally, the C and V variants lack spare tires and all of them need a reverse warning beep.

People have already reported custom sounds not working and Johnson Valley not having a default license plate design (I found out about those myself as well), but there are a few bugs and issues I'd like to point out after spending some time with version 0.27. I don't want to sound like a broken record repeating the same things over and over, so I'll instead explain the issues specifically in this update.

The first is the loading screen. While the new background images are nice, the gray status text does not complement well with them. In certain instances, it can "blend in" with the background, making it hard or almost impossible to read what the game is currently doing. Some people won't care about this information, while others do. Maybe the text color could be changed for improved readability.

The second is regarding the game window resolution in the Window display mode. For the past few updates, the option to change the resolution for that display mode has been missing in action. Only the Fullscreen mode has this option, while the Borderless mode shows this option, but has it (and the Refresh Rate option) disabled. Up until the 0.27 update, I (and probably a few others) found a workaround to change the game window resolution for the Window display mode, and that was by first changing the display mode from Window to Fullscreen, then changing the resolution to the one I want (in this case, 1600 x 900) before going back to Window and applying the changes. When done correctly, it would resize the window for that display mode only; I would have to change to the correct resolution whenever I wanted to play in fullscreen as the game somehow remembered that resolution change.

But I would assume this loophole might've been a bug the entire time, as this method of changing the game window resolution for the Window display mode no longer works in 0.27. Instead, I am stuck with whatever game window resolution the game has set. Yes, playing the game in fullscreen is highly recommended, but there are a few occasions where I want to play with a windowed display. And yes, I could technically resize the window myself, but the point is, having the option to change the game window resolution to a certain preset display size like in the older builds of the game would've been nice to have back.

On another note, the range of the production years for the Cherrier Vivace and Tograc has finally been fixed. I figured that a production run for just 1 year made no sense (unless of course the vehicle sold very poorly and was promptly discontinued within 12 months), so having the year range extend to 2024 is reasonable. This was something that I have previously pointed out for the past few update discussion threads, so thank you for acknowledging this very minor issue!

Otherwise, the 0.27 update is simply amazing; it might be the biggest update in BeamNG history as mentioned countless times. We got not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 new vehicles to cruise around in and a new map to explore, as well as an improved vehicle ignition system, an updated EV control logic, and the ability to refuel (although experimental, I would like to see fuel caps onto the official content vehicles to complete the experience :p), among other changes that make the game better. The 10 year anniversary is getting even closer, and I am glad to be part of the community for most of the game's existence. As always, I do look forward to seeing more updates in the future :)

I'd like to mention another bug, not 100% if it's been mentioned before, but if you set the 'Default Ignition State' (Settings > Gameplay) to 'Ignition: Off' the snowman won't function at all, instead just going limp. You also can't 'turn it on' when it's in this mode, you have to fully delete it, turn the setting to 'Ignition: On' and respawn.

    BUG REPORT:

After taking a hard landing with the Autobello Autobuggy the front suspension likes to disappear. The car still drives strait and the steering works as normal, dont know if its a graphical issue, or the deformed jbeams are so skinny they look invisible. Either way, it stays like that even after a car reset. I have to completely reload the car for it to reappear.

I found a fix for this. Hide a single part in the vehicle configurator and then make it visible again.

Yeees, a minor detail I always wanted: 4WD vehicles start in 2WD mode now instead of spawning with 4WD engaged.
