0.28 Discussion Thread

Has anyone else noticed that majority of the gauge clusters in the cars seem to be low resolution now? It was much clearer and HD in all cars in 0.27, even the revamped ETK cars have low resolution gauges now...

I have noticed with 0.28 that 75% of the cars seem to have some very low res gauges now. Is this a bug or some sort of optimization? If it is an optimization, please allow us to return back to the full HD models/textures by choice. You can see the difference here in the Covet gauges vs the Grand Marshall gauges.

Even the new ETK Revamp has low quality textures.

 

in brickell legrand, an oil pressure error lights up when the wheel is punched, although it should light up when oil leaks out of the engine.this is on a standard dashboard.(only the speedometer and gasoline scale) and the dashboard does not have enough engine temperature sensor for this, even if it overheats, the light bulb will not light up

In Widgeon we can't close canopy using driver camera, because of restricted view angles.

Also since we get all-terrain ETK 800 it would be nice to have offroad ECS option for it.

 

For starters the frame on the D-series is Just black, The interior of the roamer is black, for several updates now the shifter column on the D-series has been broken and never fixed itself with updates despite uninstalling my mods.

 

There's tonnes of exhaust condensation steam which seems a bit odd.

At least thats what i've seen on the ETK diesels i've tried.

Past 302F exhaust manifold temp the condensation goes away completely, then it comes back when the exhaust cools again... It should be a response curve like 100% condensation below 200F, 50% condensation 250F 20% 300F etc

Etk 6 speed sequential code is somewhat weird
I may be wrong on this, but that's just weird

 

on the dashboard of the bruckell legran, I still found a light bulb responsible for the overheating of the motor, but it does not light up when overheating and the oil pressure bulb for some reason also does not light up when the oil level is low, but it lights up when the wheel breaks through. this is a standard dashboard only with a speed and gasoline scale

 

Looks like the beam structure on the sedan variants need a bit of work. The lower section of the rear windscreen is flapping like mad when damaged
