Thanks for reporting it, I guess I got distracted by something while adding that and forgot to clean up leftovers :D
    Will be in next hotfix

But dual-motor EV should not have same range as single-motor EV.

A couple of details about the Rennspecht models (which btw look fantastic):

    1) The KR model may have the Rennspecht treatment to its engine but it doesn't have the accompanying Rennspecht badge on it for completing the existing Rennspecht package (the 8R model does have it, though).
    2) With 787Nm of turbocharged torque, the KR model should have the Heavy-Duty Torque Converter with its 8-Speed Automatic (plus the Heavy-Duty Engine Mounts).
    3) Apart from the Rennspecht gauges, both cars should also have Rennspecht-special steering wheels on the inside, for some extra differentiation (and a base steering wheel for the more basic versions of the 800 would be nice too).

Also, on a different note (ba-dum-tss), I have to congratulate the sound crew for the sound design on the new ttSport engines. The sounds the 3.0 gasoline I6 and the 4.4 V8 produce when they rev out are just amazing (the 3.0 I6 sounds like the E36 M3 engine and the 4.4 V8, especially with the 8500rpm "470 ttSport ECU (NA)" and the 9000rpm "500 Rennspecht ECU (NA)" sounds like the E92 M3 S65 V8) and their crackles on the overrun are just perfectly balanced. Please don't change the sounds and the crackles, they're perfect! ;)
Not to mention again that I'm really glad the Ibishu I4 sound got away from the 2.0 I4!

    Some other details for correction:

    1) The standard rear engine hood of the Piccolina doesn't want to stay open and it bounces back closing right after reaching the top of its opening (same with the hatch of the FCVs when the race wing is installed).
    2) There seems to be no way of opening the hood of the racing versions of the FCVs (Race, Hillclimb, the Rally Twins, the Amateur Rally and the S 310 Arsenic Trackday).
    3) As I wrote in the 800 thread, the Torque Converter distribution to each modern ETK engine is incorrect.
    - The diesel 4-cylinder 150d and the diesel 6-cylinder 260d and 320d versions should have the Diesel Locking Torque Converter with their Diesel 8-Speed Automatic (the diesel 4-cylinder 190d and the Polizei variant, with the 230 ECU, already have it, so they're ok).
    - As I wrote above, the Rennspecht KR variant should have the Heavy-Duty Locking Torque Converter because it has 787Nm of turbocharged torque (the Kc6x Trackday variant has it, so it's ok, because 575Nm of turbocharged torque is a large amount).

Judging from an earlier post this is an issue for low-end PCs running on the lowest graphics settings, but quite a few textures have gone black for me since the update. So far I’ve noticed:
    • Underbody textures for the LeGran and Sunburst
    • 15x6 and 15x7 rally tires, all bias-ply tires
    • Wangan 2P, Alder Basketweave & 423 Special, Clockwise Gravel A, and some Soliad wheels
There are probably others, but so far these are all the ones I’ve found. If it matters, I’m using an HP h8-1010 (2.7GHz Intel Core i5-2390t, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6450 512MB GPU).

No, I don’t know how this thing can run the game without transforming into a toxic bonfire, nor do I understand why I can have 230+ mods running without any problems. I suspect it might be some kind of miracle.

I must admit I find it a bit odd that there are no adjustable ECUs, aftermarket “Stage x” engine blocks, aftermarket “Stage x” turbochargers, adjustable turbochargers, or aftermarket exhausts for any of the new etk engines, especially since there are full-fledged race and track configs for both vehicles. It seems incredibly odd that those racing and track configs would run stock parts (aside from the restricted race intake on the K-series) and stage tuning ecus, as opposed to more powerful and durable aftermarket parts and race adjustable ECUs. I get that the new “Stage x” ECUs control the rpm limit and wastegate pressure, but I much prefer the creative freedom and ease of choosing exactly what the rpm limit is and exactly how much boost to run myself by using an adjustable ECU and turbocharger. Was the lack of these aftermarket and adjustable parts an oversight, or are they being phased out in favor of “Stage x” ECUs? I’d love to see some proper aftermarket and adjustable parts to play around with.

Oh also the twin turbos on the V8 are named turbocharger as opposed to twin-turbos in the parts selector.

The ETK's ECU now modifies the turbo's physical properties, namely the "engineDef", is that realistic?

If not, it could probably be written off as a shortcut to cut down on the number of combinations the devs need to test and maintain.

The most the ecu should have control over physically on a turbocharger would be the actuation of the wastegate and operation of the electronic boost control solenoid (if applicable). Definetly not realistic to change the physical properties of the turbo.
    --- Post updated ---
In real life a manufacturer wouldn’t use different turbochargers for each trim level, so there’s no reason the ecu would need to change the efficiency (a physical property of the turbocharger) in game. Having the ECUs govern the wastegate pressure makes sense, but changing the efficiency of the turbocharger does not, unless I’m misunderstanding what the efficiency parameter does.

Maybe not a different turbo for every trim level, but for example, the high-performance trims (and especially semi-aftermarket conversions like the Rennspecht versions) might use a different turbo than the low-end models.

After the latest update the Thumbnail Generator seems to prefer taking pics of the rear of certain cars rather than the side. From the cars I've tried it only seems to happen on the ETK 800, K-Series and the Vivace. It also appears to be completely random which variants it takes pics of properly and which not

The way I understand this is that it controls the airflow on the exhaust manifolds for emission regulation purposes, and since the exhaust then goes directly into the turbo, it ends up hindering its performance on lower power variants. No idea if that's a thing irl but it makes sense to me.

I heard the AI "has been improved". And that's true, except in WCUSA where after the "improvement" the AI performs even worse than in 0.27 (in 0.27 the AI performed poorly on the road to the hill where the telecommunications mast is located, in the quarry and in the updated intersection). In 0.28 the AI is going bad ALL over WCUSA.
Devs, could fix that? It's very annoying!

to add on, whenever i hit another ai car, (usually just a minor fender bender) all the surrounding ai vehicles suddenly charge towards me and ram my vehicle

also, if you end a replay while youve selected a prop, the vehicle you started the replay with will change color and spawn somewhere else, like a traffic vehicle, but it wont move.

there are 2 triggers, one is underneath the dashboard and the other one is in the door sill - open the door and behind the drivers seat is a trigger

for the bolide, its on the floor next to the drivers seat

Also, in the FWD Covet's 4AT, the
    Code:
            "lowShiftUpRPM":[0,0,1800,2500,2700],
I'm pretty sure it should be 2700, 2500, 1800 instead, since the "lowShiftDownRPM" is 1500 and 1500*3.032/1.7298=2537 well above 1800, thus when driving at 2nd gear cruise speed, the Covet will upshift and downshift constantly

Cleared all the caches and deactivated every mod. What's going on?

Edit: It was something leftover from older versions I think, I manually deleted some temp files and it works now
