    I don't know if anyone else has posted this, but the Roamer's tailgate spikes when it's crashed.. Only been happening since 0.28

    Hate it. All of the third party mods are broken to a varying degree, and you can't roll back to 0.27, on which, by some miracle, everything works just fine despite using the same userfolder, so... guess i'll have to stick to an outdated pirated version despite having a licensed copy.
    And please don't suggest trying clear install, i've done it three times only to end up with the same result.

    Just add a bloody rollback feature.

    Almost none of the mods I use myself got broken, some of the ones that did work again after the hotfix. If by "third party" you mean mods from outside of this forum, then that's just the result of lack of quality control on the websites you got them from, they wouldn't have broken if they were made properly.

    Wasn´t the problem that a new node was introduced into the steering column? After that all mods that were closely based on vanilla cars had no steering wheel?

    It fixes that extremely annoying bug we had since the earliest versions of the game, that the steering wheel would go through the windshield or float or glitch out in other ways most of the time after you crash. It's one of these bugs that you get used to and don't even notice when it gets fixed.

    Well they wouldn't be broken if someone wouldn't reorganise file system for no bloody reason!

    If only it was so easy, but this game is so complex that they can't keep reorganizing everything, or else the file size would increase a lot more with every update

    It’s also almost impossible when it was partially working, because it gives you the base model Firwood Police car, even though the thumbnail shows an RS Firwood police car

    What’s the problem? I keep on having is when ever I open the doors they open and because I’m parked on the hill they automatically close. So for the next update, I think in the options you should be able to set how much force each door should have.

    Yea, much rather have that small bug than entire interior collision system that makes cars look worse during crashes than before due to spiking.
    Not to mention paper like door and trunk locks.

    well, in general, this is the case in reality, however, the door has 2 or 3 positions in which there is a maximum effort that does not allow closing the door on a slope, but if it is too large, the door will still close.

    Still experiencing the F8 Camera Tilt (roll) bug even after the recent hotfixes.


    Since this quoted post above I noticed BeamNG had two small hotfix downloads through Steam. Not sure if those were supposed to include the F8 Camera fix or not, but if it was then I want to report that it still happens. Thank you.

    Not particularly. However, it is still the case in 0.28.1.

    Again, the problem goes away when the window looses focus (as for short bits of time in the video) or if you switch to exclusive fullscreen (not in windowed mode though). However, that isn't really an option as the fullscreen mode is poorly implemented and switches to windowed mode all the time when the app looses focus or gets closed.

    One thing I noticed and you can see in the video is that the problem goes away if but not only if the camera looks far away from any vehicle.

    The Metallic, Roughness, Clear Coat and Clear Coat Roughness values of Paint 2 and Paint 3 get reset to that of Paint 1 after changing a couple of parts

    Triangle visualisation won't work if the vehicle has only the Quads section and not Triangles. It was working properly in 0.27.

    I thought it was using a special shape in the coltris to rip the tire(sometimes the wheel) off

    That's how the old spike strip mod works. The new one is lua-based.

    Yeah but not 100% realistic, a real spike strip wouldn't rip off a wheel

    The website seems to be a bit broken when there are 2 featured mods at the same time. On the main website, there is the name of the first mod but description and images of the second, and on the repo the order is random and may change when the page is refreshed.
    Edit: Already fixed that was fast lol
