0.29 Discussion Thread

In the Vulkan Renderer, Coltris appear purple on both sides (or perhaps both purple and green simultaneously?), instead of appearing green on one side and purple on the other as they do in the DirectX Renderer.

This makes doing any Coltri work in Vulcan nigh impossible, as I find myself unable to check if they're flipped properly.

 

in some cars, for some reason, the sounds of the turn signals were changed, especially in the etk 800, they took the sound from the ibishu hopper

 

When in orbit camera, there is a "Open hood" from interior and boxes from doors, hood, trunk highlights even when cursor is in corner of monitor

 

When shifting improperly (due to whatever it might be) the gears grind.

I don't know if it's intentional, but the gambler 500 bolide has a very weak point in the chassis, which bends it at relatively light use (if i compare it to other misuse I have done with cars. ) where the tube frame comes to the body, it seems like it's not attached at all. (regular jump at grid map)

 

Devs, please add different sized weathered rims and old tires.
It would make beater builds way better on everything, not just the Covet.

 

Except it's extremely inconsistent and doesn't get damaged or make a sound when I slam a gear hard one moment, and then gets damaged when I shift more gently in another.

 

I-Series clock works.

Is anyone else having this texture issue with the number plates and interior screens where they go white which causes the game to crash?

 

press the clutch at the right time, the game is overly sensitive about the timing, not inconsistent more so we are too inconsistent for the game. Everyone seems to really struggle with manuals in this game for this reason, though i think it is handled better than most sims.
fully depress the clutch before the shifter and it pretty much never causes issues
I could complain about its issues but the devs are already in the process of laying out a new system and the schematic itself seemed to try to solve all the current issues so I just leave it to them.

 

trust me you get used to how its done
after playing for a bit i almost never get any wrong gears or grinding at all, tho i do agree that the gear grind should be more consistant with the bad shifting, sometimes you shift good enough to not have a bad shift but it still grinds
