    Unfortunately, you can't.
    If you're on Steam, you still can reinstall all old versions that have reached the end of a support to revert to it.
    Like the end of use of DX9 (0.4.3), DX10 (0.14.0.5) or the 32-bit (0.23.5.1).

    Not recommended, but the only way to do that is to download from backup sites, which can be quite dubious.

    I believe I have found a bug that makes the game literally unplayable (just kidding, I am able to play, but it's still a bug). I have built a custom version of the Bruckell LeGran Sport SE 38.V6 with a manual transmission. I have modified a few things (lightened flywheel, race ECU, race springs and shocks, semi race brake pads and 17x9 Okudai PR02 wheels, among other few things), and, somehow, the ABS system doesn't work. I didn't take it out of the car, so it was supposed to work.

    I suggest if you wanted a backdated version, you should consider backing up(copying the entire folder elsewhere) before steam updates them or whenever earliest possible, whichever is most convenient for you. I did that for my benchmark runs in order to get 1:1 performance for individual hardware I test.

    On the Moonhawk and probably other cars, if the body is detached from the frame, the body will make wind noises depending on the speed the frame is moving

    There are major PREFAB bugs that have been happening since 0.28 which makes using them nearly impossible (still occurs in 0.29)

    Recently in 0.28 BeamNG prefabs have moved from the filename.prefab formatting to the filename.prefab.json formatting. The new json formatting is much simpler and more streamlined... although there are some major bugs that make using prefabs completely broken if you have to modify them, move, duplicate, or unpack them. Once the prefab is made it will usually work after a map reload if you never touch it again. BUT if you were to try and move or duplicate the prefab it almost always disappears for good and if saved will stay broken permanently. It still shows up in the scenetree and will be there in the items.level.json and even after playing with the "renderedenabled" it will always stay invisible. These issues with the new prefabs.json are being discussed on the following thread, in which multiple people are experiencing these issues:

    Not sure if the new json formatting for prefabs is still work in progress or not, but this desperately needs a fix or at least the option to save with the old non json format until it is fixed.

    well,although this question is a bit silly,i still want to know why autobello stambecco's mud-terrain tires are all broken,I disabled all mods related to stambecco and deeply cleared the cache, but it still works like this:(

    The click of DERP.

    Editor does not always catch mouse clicks where they are intended
    when editor windows are overtop of the camera view (such as terrain editing, scene tree, inspector, etc). Thus you end up making extreme mayhem when attempting to edit (or paint!) the terrain. As-such, I've not been doing such for 0.28.x or now 0.29.x.
    I have been working around by attempting right-clicks before left-clicking, but sometimes I forget, and who knows what kind of damage I've unknowingly/unwittingly done to my map.
    This is not GPU-model-specific, though it may only be on Nvidia drivers. I've tried two different drivers. Current one is most recent STUDIO READY driver as of June 1st (no beta drivers here!).
    This just started happening this year or so, since 0.28 released. So I don't know what changed, but please GRAB (initialize) the mouse cursor upon focus and check for windows before registering a click in the game world. The older editor used to do this on focus, though it sometimes caused a stuck input from the mouse until you clicked again.
    The windows of the editor are in no way outside or over the edge of the game-window border, as it's full screen and I'm using a single screen (as the thunderstorm or power outage smoked my main monitor in late June, forget which).
    It used-to only happen if I'd minimize the game editor (to take breaks, away from keyboard, etc) but now it does it always.
    Windows 10 Pro (legit)
    3090 24gb RTX card, 2070 8gb RTX card (old one)
    64gb ram (3000mhz CL-15, dual-rank, dual-channel)
    3950x Ryzen / x570, STOCK factory settings
    All voltage settings, temperature readouts, fan settings are where they should be for healthy 'computering'.
    This is my dev machine.
    This is with a fresh install.
    I DO NOT know if this has to do with Windows 10 + Nvidia drivers using a dummy* monitor while the physical monitor is idle or otherwise powered off, as this is how the OS continues to work headless. This very thing is why some windows get resized and such much smaller when you come back to the machine after being away for a while.
    If the bug is related to this issue for some reason (I can't tell which, but it's now doing it without going idle!!! so it might NOT be), I will sell this 3090 and get an AMD Radeon card in-stead (will try much older drivers first, but whatever I can afford to get with the proceeds will likely buy a decent Radeon card).

    IF THERE IS ANYONE ELSE WITH THIS ISSUE, PLEASE SAY SO. This way I will be able to narrow this down due to configuration issue or software issue, thank-you ahead of time.
    No other software has this issue currently, only the resizing bug when AFK affects folder and web browser windows.

    *Settings for dummy monitor are in Windows Registry, for those technically inclined to such. Editing the Windows Registry can and usually will cause your computer to not start/boot Windows, and could result in data loss. This fine-print just added for liability, and maybe to save someone from buggering up their computer. This bug with the game editor occurred well before I attempted to work-around the window-resizing issue in an attempt to alleviate forced resizing and also the click-bug with the editor. I have not installed any peripheral-specific software immediately prior to experiencing this bug, nor did Windows update. This showed up when some form of 0.28.x came out months ago.

    Official forum language is ENGLISH. This is as-per forum rules, and makes things easier to understand and more efficient for everyone (well, except those who can't speak or read it). That's fairly common among game developers and their communities unless it's either a very small team located somewhere that doesn't speak any English, or if it's a specific deliberate forum/site (etc) such as 'Deutsche news site xyz' etc. Please excuse if I murdered that word for German horridly.
    Please refer to the official forum rules page for any other questions, it should be pretty easy to find. If not, Google it - because someone invented THAT too.


    Previous mentioned map editor click derp issue is worked-around with right clicking 1st or by anchoring menus to edge of screen (seems to be doing me a solid now).
    Hey guys! The resident blundering idiot who shall not be named, found another bug.
    What is wrong with this picture? (see picture attached, since I cannot manually place attached pics in msg body)
    All it took was me to go back and forth between the object editor and the mesh road editor (use them for carving here). The reason it's WAY over there is partly because the original 1st node of the road used-to-be over there, but I deleted it after a copy operation (to split a mesh road) earlier, so now it doesn't update it's position anymore for some reason - likely since it cannot find it.
    Please make the hand-tweak tool in the terrain editor work again, I truly miss it and have not had it for almost a year now. I need it badly for my Los Injurus map, thanks!
