    Well, about the bugs of any of the transport better write to the current version "0.30", or specifically "official content -> transport name". Will the problem get the same attention? Or is there a priority to the location of the bug report? For example, if I want to report a bug to etk-k, where is the correct place to post it? So as not to spam several topics at once.

    I shall give that "Disable/Enable all mods" soon and hopefully that will fix it for me, appreciate the help!

    AFAIK, there is experimental support for Vulkan on this GPU with third party drivers in Linux, but the standard AMD drivers for the R9 390 do not support Vulkan at all

    Is this path supposed to be partially invisible on the actual terrain? The little path right in front of the player marker seems to not exist while the rest of it shows up fine but the last quarter of it seems to be not finished properly as on the actual terrain the texture makes the path turn around on itself but on the minimap it's a dead end off to the left by a few meters. Has been like that since whenever JV got introduced so not sure if that's intentional or a missed detail :p

    Because of the clutch pack. They're the weakest link in every transmission and, although they could be a little bit sturdier on the Aurata when full power is applied (talking mainly about the 'Custom - Street' variant, which can be tuned upwards of 400hp), I'm glad they're simulated in automatics now, even though it's only on the CVT kind.

    I did just try what you said, disabled/enabled all mods, restarted, and it's still doing the same thing on my end.

    Because as McBeamer94 mentioned, unlike the Sunburst which uses

    Torque Converter + CVT

    the Aurata uses

    Centrifugal clutch + CVT


    The CVT itself - similar to automatic, sequential and dual clutch transmissions - cannot be damaged (by drivetrain abuse). But drivetrain abuse is perfectly capable of overheating the clutch which also has a lower thermal tolerance for heat than regular manual gearbox clutches.

    Add an rather unexpected high power level in the fastest versions and it is easy to see, why the stock clutch - meant for far lower power - is easily at its limit.

    Does the Sunburst use a torque converter too? Because I know that you can set the Race Adjustable Clutches of the Aurata to be coupled as low as in 1000rpm, which is below the factory set idling limit (being about 1350rpm), and that makes the Aurata creep forwards and backwards, giving it a feel very similar to having a torque converter. Maybe that's how the Sunburst's CVT is set from the factory.

    Sunburst uses a Torque Converter, allowing it to crawl without clutch wear and clutch temperature rise. In would in real life increase the temperature of the torque converter but probably not in a critical way... there are benefits in transmissing power indirectly via oil.

    Never quite imagined that a CVT could be paired with a torque converter. Very interesting concept and excellent in terms of smoothness it looks like!

    @Devs:

    Is it intended that Johnson Valley - a desert map with glowing sun and sand - is colder than West Coast USA and Italy? I mean I could understand the night temperatures to an extent, but in bright dailight, this should be a hell of heat, should it not?



    If yes, could you please explain why you think that it should be pretty cold? This looks like a missed opportunity for me to test how vehicles handle the heat stress.

    Is this a bug or a feature? License plates seem to work normal on normal graphic settings but on low it shows a Virtual Reality plate with BEAMNG on it. It stays that way even if you change the license plate numbers and design. The text is also a dark grey in the vehicle config and it's the same on every map. (I am in safe mode btw)

    It worked fine in 0.29 so that is why I am unsure if it is a bug or a feature. :confused:
