I gave career mode a try for a video but found myself hooked on it outside of my intended scope. As someone who loves grindy and punishing games I’d like to hear other players thoughts, but I really hope racing and other motorsports are integrated as expensive passion hobbies before breaking even enters the picture (much like real life). I personally think the devs are on a very strong path with the delivery system. It’s progression is a satisfying buildup; Watching your budget plummet to add more cargo space before you can begin making more money per trip.
I agree AI behavior is very crucial for career mode and one that’s probably going to be very challenging to dial in. Currently it’ll drive down the middle of the street, pull U turns at tight intersections, back into you, sit stationary in a pileup for eternity, and perform a bunch of other odd behavior. Most wrecks have been at my own fault but I’ve had a few where the AI blew a fuse (they’d probably think the same about me backing a trailer into the street). But at the same time if future improvements are made I hope other vehicles don’t behave too predictably. I’d also like to see more AI crossing through opposing traffic lights and interfering when merging onto highways.

There is an error in the localization of vehicle custom keybinds, the T-Series tells me on a German keyboard to press Y to activate the J-Brake, but the button it activates on is Z instead. I guess this is where the Y key sits on the American keyboard.

 

Wait, what layout is a German keyboard in? Ours is in the QWERTY layout

I share your view on the delivery system aswell as the AI behaviour.
Something id love to see, just like you hinted at, is a better integration with racing, maybe needing to use your own car and having AI that dynamically adjust their ability depending on yours might be pretty neat.
Though I cant see this happening unless the insurance system improves significantly.

This is a really cool update

 

It's not a .32 specific issue, but it's been the case for a while:
What's the logic for the thumbnail generator when it come to making a new one or not? It feels like when the thumbnail is bad (obstacle in front of the car) the game will keep that very image for the longest time even if you save further modifications to the config. Do I need to change map, restart the game? Or is it something else?

 

The suspension it's still not attached correctly. Or is only a 3D model issue?

You just need to restart the game
It keeps the image it first loaded in memory until the game gets restarted even if you made a new one

Just noticed an issue with the exhaust on the BX. It happens when you remove the exhaust:

Happens on both I4's, with stock and sport intakes. It also happens with the two V8's, with every intake.

 

I’m still on 0.32.0, can someone give me the coordinates?

 

With 0.32.1 still "no texture" bug at the Small Island's props there (tested in Safe Mode)
