    When I try to load into a map I either get stuck on the loading screen or I end up with the old main menu picture infront of me with no way to get rid of it. If i press escape it just sends me back to the main menu.

    not sure how nobody's noticed/pointed it out yet but i love how the new "slider" livery and body kit is very clearly inspired by Eddie's Skyline from NFSU1 lol

    Sorry for the late reply.
    For me the new UI is the slower one and i think its more cluttered.
    Making the > arrows on the dropdowns animated doesnt help it be faster,
    Having to click through 3 seperate panels to change the paint groups is also bad.
    The older one was simple and easy to look at. Maybe its just i havent got used to it but i will always prefer the older one. Also i if you have a button for returning to the old UI, at least dont make us click it every time, make it persistant or an option in options menu.
    Also i think the "more options" toggle is pointless, same goes for "Configurations" in the painting menu (ik it was in the old one, but if you separete the paints int 3 panels, there is no need for it anymore). There isnt that many options to hide to justify this button.
    Now for some subjective things. Rounded corners are ugly. The new whole UI concept (main menu also) is also more suited for something like Forza, not Beamng in my opinon. Its a simulator , not an arcade.

    I saw that other people had some complaints too and now they bother me too, such as:
    - No revert to deafault button in tuning
    - All the parts dropdowns are on the same column, so its harder to tell apart the parent part ( for example body) from a door
    - Higher contrast strains your eyes
    - No tooltips ( hovering over something in tuning )

    Is this really such a problem to give us an option of "Legacy UI" in UI options?

    I'm experiencing two bugs with 0.34 on Steam Deck.
    a) Mods are disabled/deactivated on each start with the standard note about the update. Clicking "Reactivate all mods" reactivates mods, but they will be disabled again after the next game start.
    b) The Tacho2 HUD app disappears after time trials. This has been observed before, but without a solutions besides reloading the UI.

    Any ideas or suggestions? The second issue can be resolved by reloading the HUD via F5, but I'd need to sacrifice a mapped button on the Steam Deck to achieve that.

    i mean, yeah. i'm playing on cops and robbers server and had it tuned for police chases. the engine itself has extra power upgrades, but what's the point in them if you cannot cool that power? better radiator addition would help a lot

    something i noticed is that the lightbars are automatically put on when theres a chase in traffic mode, now!

    The main thing is the UI coloring and spacing. The old one does it better.

    Also, trying to install Alder Vulcan wheels leads to lua error. Tested on Burnside, Bluebuck, Moonhawk and the Nine.

    I have noticed some bad screen tearing and v-sync causing some bad lag. This is since 0.33 or so. If I let the game run with no framerate limiter, the problem is better but still there. V sync does not fix the screen tearing. I believe this issue showed up in 0.33 or so. I have an RTX 4090 and for the sake of my PSU, thermals, and power bill I would rather not run the game without V-sync and/or an FPS cap (which doesn’t 100% fix it anyway).

    Cherrier is using EU plate not US. Traffic vehicles sometimes do random pill up 3-5 car's. Some traffic spawn's crashed.

    i noticed another thing about the ui that i liked better about the old one we used to have a little x next to the overwrite button to clear the search bar and i used that alot upload_2024-12-12_12-37-3.png

    Bug Report : The Alder Vulcan 15x4 Front Wheels (Silver) cause a fatal lua error and cause my vehicle to float off into the abyss. Mods are disabled and I'm on the current version of the game.

    Exhaust in wrong spot for custom frame with 423 and side pipes

    Headers on side pipes also interfere with wide front fenders and running boards, causing vibrations

    I use the enhanced chase cam mod a lot but for some reason the camera is slightly off to the left from the center for only the Bruckell Nine. I don't know lua but i looked at the mod code and found a line that offset the camera by 0,5 to center it somehow. If i set it to 0 the Bruckell nine is now fixed dead center but every other car in the game is now shifted off to the right. The reason I'm posting this in this thread is because right now I'm wondering if there is something not centered or is otherwise off on the Bruckell Nine like the refnodes or something?

    Hi, looks like someone had a happy little accident on the gear ratios of the Bruckell Nine:

    The 3.27 gear ratio is coded to be a 3.72, I noticed because my top speed was decreasing instead of increasing!

    There is one major issue I found with the new parts UI: The search function is limited to the part slot, it doesn’t include the individual part names from the dropdown menus anymore. That does help clear up, but it really bothers me. I often find myself typing in a keyword like "race" to immediately see every part with a "race"-specific version (e.g. coilovers or seats) only to find no results. That is the main reason I prefer the old UI.

    With enable switching to traffic vehicles enabled, and traffic spawned on Small Island USA, if I switch to a traffic car that's close to the shore, the traffic cars will start to spawn in the ocean. Switching back to my vehicle fixes it, but I'm basically unable to switch to any traffic cars without them spawning in the ocean.
