I was towing with the Nine, and suddenly I got an instability. I have no clue what happened, I was going slowly and was on a dirt road. The bumper was slightly damaged though (no picture obviously)

Blue buck drag has no rev limiter. This makes the transmission short shift.
Blue buck drag is missing race rear and front sway bar.
Blue buck drag needs each rear coil spring height to be adjust individually like the Barstow and the moonhawk so you can raise the rear right corner up and prevent the rear bumper from smacking the ground on launch

Grand marshal drag revs way past usable power in the power band but when you lower the rev limiter it loses power?? and then when you raise it to max it gains power?? the motor makes peak power at like 5800 rpm when would adjusting the rev limiter up add power and lowering it reduce power? Peak power should stay the same unless i lower the rev limiter below 5800 rpm

That tends to happen with superchargers in this game. I found that out while tinkering with the Lansdale.

The "roadster" body for the Bruckle Nine is missing the option to equip a license plate to the body even though it shares the same rear as the standard "coupe" body.

The update is not big, but good enough.
Though, why doesn't the ETK I-Series have smooth lights? It's weird, because it was teased on this car.

Since the 0.34 update, setting up a car got very cumbersome:

    • Several setup values are getting shown rounded to 50, whereas previously, they were'nt rounded. You still can enter more specific values than rounded by 50, but they're not being displayed accurately. If you need proof, add a actual car weight widget and change the tire weights by 1 or 2 units or fuel load and monitor how the change is getting reflected by the weight widget.
    • The Apply button in the Setup tab is unreliable. The only reliable way to have the changes getting applied is by enabling live update.
    • I can't change tire pressure anymore. Whether or not live updates are enabled, it won't change anything. Interestingly, the tire pressures of my car were set to 20 psi, but since the update, the pressure's shown as 20.1 psi. To reproduce the issue, try changing the pressure to 1 psi and look at the tire after applying the change. It's not getting deflated as it should, therefore it's not applying the change.
    • Text / number fields are messed up. For example, try to manually enter a specific engine redline RPM. Click in the text field, press CTRL+A and start writing the number. It's completely messed up
    • In the Parts tab, we previously were able to not only search by the part name (like Differential), but also by the actual parts (like "race adjustable differential" or similiar.

Is there a way to restore the previous browser framework?

They are quite deep in the slots tree, this was the only way to make them work on all grille variants that they would fit on irl

Unfortunately I don't think so, rally lights would need different models/materials. We will see if we could reuse the sealed beams from the Nine bumper

The driveshaft is protected by the torque tube which allows it to survive stuff like this, the issue is rather the angle the tube is allowed to go at and it clips with stuff, we are planning to tweak this

I think the text boxes for the right column should be smaller for parts without a dropdown menu.

Yes people do this to them irl for styling. Sometimes they have hidden buttons or remote controls to open the doors

Maximum RPM the engine is capable of has been separated from the maximum 'advised' RPM that is the redline. So certain cars will be able to rev higher beyond the redline than they used to. For example the Nine I4 has redline at 3500RPM but can rev to over 4200, just won't make much power beyond it. This is how old engines like these were

Would this be to simulate valve float or limited breathing?

Valve float if that is not familiar:
    https://garage.grumpysperformance.com/index.php?threads/what-causes-valve-float.11502/

Both could make engine appear to run out of steam, but valve float can produce more interesting results, which could be the valvetrain damage inside the game, but I must say that I am not very certain how game is designed in this regard.

hay I just wanted to say thank you soo much for adding the electrical simulation. Besides that all you need is tire thermals, added weather, and a graphics remaster. Thanks!

The "Short Pannel Van Body" and "Sedan Body" don't have any options to install taillights or a license plate without the rear fenders installed. This is unlike all the other body styles that do have this option (excluding the "Roadster Body" missing a license plate witch I mentioned earlier as an unintentional oversight.)

On steam forum there's a literally unplayable™️ Final Drive ratio of 2.5 instead of 2.0 in Gavril D-Series. I also discovered it

For vehicles with rev-limiter, the engine section of jbeam file has "maxRPM" value, in this case, the "maxRPM" is the max physical RPM without damage. In the ECU of said engine there's a "revLimiterRPM", it would normally set to at or below the "maxRPM", in the UI, the "revLimiterRPM" is displayed as red line and you can't rev over this because of the rev limiter. If you money shift, your engine won't be damaged even if the RPM exceeds the UI redline as long as it's below the "maxRPM" value.

For vehicles without rev-limiter, the engine section of the jbeam file has "maxRPM", "maxPhysicalRPM" and "redlineTorqueDropOffRange". The "maxRPM" is used for UI tachometer and the calculation of torque dropoff. "maxPhysicalRPM" is for calculating engine damage, the engine won't be damaged if the RPM exceeds "maxRPM" if it's still below the "maxPhysicalRPM", engine torque will be zero if the RPM is "maxRPM" plus "redlineTorqueDropOffRange". If "maxRPM" plus "redlineTorqueDropOffRange" is equat to or lower than "maxPhysicalRPM", you won't damage your engine by revving in neutral or forgetting to upshift even if the vehicle has no rev limiter. Money shifts will damage the engine only if the RPM exceeds "maxPhysicalRPM"
