does Vulkan mode does something weird to anyone at west coast USA, because i runs at only 20-30 fps on my rtx 3060 but 100 fps on other maps, can anyone help please :3
Probably because of all the stuff added to WCUSA. I think you could either install 0.34 and add some 0.35 things as mods, or keep 0.35 but install 0.34 WCUSA as a mod. Does this happen in DX11? If not, I think it's better to (if you want 0.35) install the 0.34 WCUSA as a mod, or (if that doesn't work) straight up install 0.34 and install 0.35 WCUSA as a mod. If installing 0.35 WCUSA in 0.34 works fine, then maybe you could try adding other 0.35 stuff, like the Sunburst and the other refreshed vehicles
they much rather would make a bad update to the ui and make it harder and slower to use than fix other core parts of the game. ALSO WITH NO MODS, THE GAME DOESNT RUN LIKE IT DID BEFORE 0.35. THIS GAME (update) *IS* POORLY OPTIMIZED. (btw my game IS on my ssd, aswell as having updated mods and no incompatibles) I love, LOVE this game! it has my most played time on steam, but the way its been getting worse and worse optimizations since idk, like 0.32 it makes it a hassle to even play with ONE vehicle. i used to have over 70-80fps before 0.35, now with just ONE CAR, my game has slowed to 30-40 max fps.
What are your settings? I know in my testing, sometimes dynamic mirrors/reflection starts flickering and slows my FPS to less than 10. I was able to fix it by using windowed instead of fullscreen/borderless, but I don't know if that's gonna work for you
Noticed that out of the 4 hotfixes the police pursuit AI glitch has still not been fixed? Does the issue really go that deep and can we see a fix for it in the near future?
The DriftGear suspension from the Sunburst has a misspelled adjustment in the tuning menu, it's missing the 'L' in 'Adjusts caster from the lower control arm' when you hover over the front caster adjust to get the context menu. Not a thing on the base suspension or the Rally suspension, just the DriftGear one.
So yeah what I mean is that the slots are given a unique slot path, but its possible to have the same slot id defined. For example if you have one part that exists multiple times and the part defines some slots, those slots will have the same slot id as defined in the jbeam file. but they'll all have a unique slot path. I'll add it back as config.partsList back but instead where the key is now a slot path and the value is the part name.
That's pretty much what I understood from the allowing of duplicate slot ids, using slot paths as keys is needed to differentiate and avoid conflicts in such a table. I think adding it back could be quite useful, config.parts will work just fine.
Actually it'll be renamed to "config.partsList" to avoid a naming conflict that breaks the vehicle spawning code if it was called "config.parts". Sorry about the whole situation.
Hirochi sunburst, ibishu bx diana, soliad lansdale, when the low beam is on, the animation of the smooth high beam flare disappears. In these cars, the high beam and low beam are divided into sections. When the low beam is turned off, both sections have a smooth fade, but when using the low beam, the high beam section stops smoothly flaring up and going out. In the hirochi sunburst, the turn signal lever is too sharp -- --- Post updated --- After 0.34.4, the FFB situation became better than in 0.35.3. But in my opinion, the maximum power of 1000 should still be returned. I don't have a very powerful Thrustmaster T150, but with a power of 1000, it even manages to spin in a drift. FBB quality at 1000 is not worse than 500. The maximum effort of 1000 needs to be returned --- Post updated --- Also, the steering wheel returns to the center faster at a force of 1000 at low speed than at a force of 500
Yeah man, that's exactly what we want, I'm starting to think this was the worst update of BeamNG, considering all the bugs that appeared --- Post updated --- We got the 0.35.4 update and nothing changed man, cmon devs, it can't be that hard to return the max FFB strength to 1000
Stability Issues: Steam deck Since the 0.35 update, on my steamdeck specifically, it wiped my game. All of my configs were lost. This was frustrating, however, this is not the main issue I have encountered so far. Stability on the deck post 0.35 has been terrible. The games performance seems to be about the same, maybe slightly better. However, it crashes much more easily. on 0.34, the deck was rock solid, the game would never crash. But on this new update, the device would fully brick itself and need a a restart. This only happens when loading in traffic, specifically only on Johnson Valley to my knowledge (starting from south highway). Some cars will load, and maybe the game will even run for a little bit. But then suddenly, the game will completely crash, and the device will be completely unresponsive. Hopefully these issues get fixed soon. Thanks.
