btw, on a more serious note i discovered the 1976 soliad wendover mod breaks the new wheel textures on the sunburst, so if your wheels are messed up try disabling that or getting rid of it entirely
i have quite a few issues with the remastered sunburst that i'm not sure people will agree with, but i'm going to put my opinion out here anyway my first issue with it is the entire rear end. the boot now feels like it's too big and it makes the rear end of the car itself look extremely wide these lights. i can see what the devs have tried to go for (which is just the impreza's lights), but they do not work on the sunburst at all and make the car just look, cheap? i don't know how to describe it, but the european light with the foglight is even worse, just have the entire light be red they were perfectly fine before and like the boot being widened i feel like this was an unnecessary change, and one for the worse at that, it doesn't have to be a carbon copy of the subaru impreza moving onto the wagon.. why? i get that the original sedan has little bumps there on the boot, but why would they be kept for the wagon? they look extremely out of place and also just look horrible. they would of made more sense if the rear lights were moved up, but they arent i just do not get why the entire car is straight, and then there is this random bulge in the most awkward place. now moving past that, the entire station wagon itself is really REALLY strange it's just too bubbly, the rest of the car has obvious 'slants', and all of that is just thrown out of the window in favour for this bubble, saturn sl-esque little compartment it is just so horrendously out of place and doesnt suit the car at all it feels like the entire area was designed seperately and was just awkwardly tacked onto the sunburst, i really feel like there should of been design inspiration from the sunburst wagon mod that existed years ago, or even just the impreza estate in general which, may i add, fit the sunburst's design perfectly now theres more i'd like to add, but as i can only have 10 images in one post, and i know ill be getting alot of backlash from this post, i'll just add them on here the hubcaps have next to no texture now and the hirochi logo is barely visible, it looks like it is just one flat texture for the entire hubcap the new interior colours do not suit the car at all, the base interior has seat and door card designs straight out of a 90s toyota. the comfort interior is too grey and the wood is extremely out of place and looks like it's some weird aftermarket wrap the sport s interior, the blue is horrendous, it literally looks like the interior of a 2009 chevrolet matiz, this is meant to be a pseudo sports car, but it looks like some cheap throwaya economy car with the nauseating amount of blue i do feel like the front doorhandles should be plastic on the low trim, or atleast have a bit of texture as now you can barely see them and i do not get why there is a fuel door honestly, it's the first car in beamng to have one, which is cool, but it's now the odd one out is this constructive criticism? i've tried my best for it to be, i like the remaster, i just have issues with it, this isnt meant to be slanderous or i definitely did not intend for it to be, just wanted to put my opinions out there i know very little about car design, but i feel like i know enough to know that the new rear end and the wagon do not look very good
People will always figure out ways to hate on free updates. It's the same thing with literally every community. Just ignore them. On a different note, there is still no thread for the Sunburst, even after its remaster.
I like the Sunburst remaster, but only thing i wish if the configs would say EUDM and USDM. And the wagon looks like somebody built it at home and took a sedan and slapped a longer rear roof onto it. It doesn't look right IMO
That's not what I said though. I never said that people pointing out bugs were them complaining. I'm more talking about the steam community for the game, which literally never seems to be happy with updates.
Hi, we are currently looking into this. However, please avoid downloading dll's from websites as there could be anything contained within them. This is how it should look under the properties and then details tab. Also, please run your antivirus just to make sure your system is okay
The Wagon’s trunk “bumps” are supposed to be a motif from the sedan. The sedan has similar styling on its trunk.
Also, the autobella stambecco lights up smoothly only at the back, but they still remain old at the front, and the ETK 800's front halogen lights don't light up either.
There is a glitch in replay where the halogen lights don't show. For example use halogen lights turn on hazards and they won't show
Can someone help me to turn off the orbit camera going upward when I drive faster? It's not in camera settings and happens since 0.35. It levitates upward and never did that.
guys, i think i lost my screenshots folder in this update, its just missing, did it also happened to you?
Awesome update! one small thing i noticed was the abscence of 2.5 badging on the 2.5 comfort model, which just uses 2.0 and the pedals clipping through the floor slightly. Other than that, they look so good!
dont get the hate, the new sunburst is amazing. been using it for the last few hours and the only bug i found was with the lights on the polizia version. when changing light modes (chase and scene) on the light bar the they stop functioning properly and the car stops functioning
Based on all released footage mudflaps of rally cars seems to be too soft and not affected by air. Which in result make them swing like pendulums. Look at 13:35 - somehow such small detail is very off putting, breaks the realistic looks of BeamNG's simulation of cars in motion. In reality it depends, some are plastic like, some more caoutchouc like, but not floor mat like. Those should bend with air resistance. Look at 1:45 and 4:06 - found a good vid reference with the soft mudflaps and there's no swinging, slightly flexed due to air resistance even at quite low speeds and quite steady. Highlights of 0.35 seems a bit too short, when I read those it got me thinking this update is quite small, then I got into changelog and oh boy it's a big one But I know for a fact, not many check full changelogs, so it may give wrong imprsssion on the update for many.
