By update 0.36, the smooth lowering of the fuel level and engine temperature arrows when the ignition is turned off has not been fixed. I found out that this is true for cars that have received a new system for smoothly lighting the headlights. And not all cars have received this system yet, even at 0.36 --- Post updated --- And I still hope that we can turn on the alarm when the ignition is off.
Personally , i don't like the direction Beam.ng has taken over the last couple of updates. The game is becoming more and more like a mobile game with the notfications in the top right ( talking about the new main menu , and the new UI look overall). I don't think animating every little Ui button is necessary too. I miss the old days when it was just a really good sim. Of course the new vehicles and refreshes are amazing.
The problem with the smooth flare of the high beam when the low beam is on has not yet been fixed. In hiroshi sunburst soliad lonsdale ibishu bx diana, when the low beam is on, the smooth high beam flare stops working.
I don't find it --- Post updated --- and my pfp was in this folder like my wallpapers (now its a endless void)
295/75 tyres break the rear axle on the armoured MD-Series and the wheels are occasionally invisible.
i think you are confusing controller friendly/ normie friendly ui with mobile game ui, this is just a more modern looking and more acessible approach to ui, the more you go back the more of a "tech demo/ professional software" look the ui becomes
Could we have the option to remove or put the Quick-Start Exeprience tab on the second slot / page? My muscle memory is gonna hit that button all the time instead of freeroam
in the 0.35 thread, i noted that some cars with usdm turn signals (where the indicator and brake lights are combined) weren't working right, and were working in the opposite way than what they were supposed to. sad to see this hasn't been fixed in 0.36 yet. funnily enough, the issue also happens with the H - Series(and possibly the Hopper, hard to tell), which doesn't even have the new lights. really hope that the devs fix the lights (thankfully they work just fine on the new burnside), and address why some cars haven't gotten them yet.
Found a weird bug where sometimes after selecting parts, the mesh of the part doesn't show up on the vehicle and only shows up after hovering over the part in the vehicle configurator. Resetting the vehicle or doing ctrl+r doesn't fix it. Is it something to do with the cache??
Traffic versions have the light materials remade and set up differently to be as optimised as possible, and are all PBR as a result and therefore work with the fading. The proper vehicle versions are still waiting on having the lights properly rebaked before they can get the fading since they're not getting the bodged old textures treatment as proper vehicles, so don't have it yet. Didn't want to just leave a couple random traffic vehicles without them as it would look odd, and it was already possible on the technical end with how the lights were done previously.
I'm pretty sure you'll have to wait for BeamMP itself to update to suit 0.36, which could take a day or two, then you can re-enable it as a mod.
Yet another update that didn't spend enough time in quality assurance. The Miramar GTZ dual headlight fascia is bugged (can't send a picture because 2FA), the Burnside carpet texture looks even worse than it did in 2015, and as many have pointed out, several long outstanding issues have not been fixed. As I said before, stop prioritizing new content and fix what is already there. This game needs bug fixes, not new bugs.
Honestly, for me this is a very good update, a lot of content in a short time. (Only 2 months!) Although on average updates take 3 or 4 months, the school bus is the best thing in this update for me.
Is it just me or after the update the light fade (especially the brake lights on some vehicles) isn't as smooth as it used to be in the previous version? For example on some cars (like the Covet) when you press the brake, the rear brake lights do fade IN like they should, however when you take your foot off the brake pedal, they don't fade OUT smoothly. Furthermore, the fading lights have stopped working (or at least fade in and out too quickly) on the Landsdale (and Legran's) rear indicators and brake light after the update. They used to work in the previous version and the light fade in/out effect was a lot smoother and slower. For the headlights the effect is perfectly fine.
