There seems to be a problem with the road texture in Johnson Valley only in the further parts of the road, as it seems to have a strange grain that becomes greater the more you zoom out of the road. Running on Direct3D fresh install with an NVIDIA GPU and Intel CPU
Same Here, it’s an issue for all the materials that use non-DDS PNG-terrain textures. Did the devs nuke the ability for the game to generate mip-maps on the fly?
On the T-Series long concrete mixer upfit, the strap holding the chute extension pieces immediately breaks when spawning the truck. This issue does not occur on the shorter mixer upfit. Tested in safe mode.
It’s always a mod issue. You can easily track it down by launching the game with 5-10 mods first, then adding another 5-10 at a time, and so on...
Working with the new features in the world editor. I saved the map I was working on, moved all the edited files into my map like I've done to update my map, reloaded the game and poof. 8 hours of work somehow didn't transfer after it asked me to overwrite the old files. Great update. EDIT: Realizing after seeing my work go poof, the update added roads back that I removed. This has been the worst update.
In 0.36, the default configuration was selected when choosing a vehicle. Now an additional click is required
After each major update, many non-official files are moved into a backup folder, or are left behind in the old version of the userfolder. This is done to avoid NOTEXTURE bugs in maps, and other similar situations. If you are a modder, you can find your edited files in either the v0.36 folder, or in some recent backup folder. You can access all your old files using our official launcher > Manage User Folder > Manage backups. Hope that helps.
I moved the 0.36/levels folder into current/ folder and then worked on my map after the update. All was fine. I moved the content from current/levels/mymapname files into my map folder and overwritten the files like it always does. I've done this more then 10 times. This time, I relaunched the game to fine that all the changes I did went poof and some roads that were edited were put back on the map. My map is your east coast map altered with only assets from the game.
Am i the only one who's having this issue? About the DDS PNG problem on the maps, could it be the same issue? Ingame log says, that game tries to find PNG textures in common folder, but there's none. All of textures are DDS. Could it be game's issue? Cache cleared, cant find which mod makes the problem
I'm liking the update so far, the new ui is much appreciated! My only complaint is that I miss the old look of the steering wheels, it would be nice to have the option between the old and new.
After the new update, the vehicle selector is completely blank, if someone could tell me what to do, it would be very appreciated.
Hello, I noticed some interesting deformation on the new limo that allows you to see through the body. Not sure if this is intended, and I believe this is the right place to mention it. I've attached a couple of screenshots. If this is the wrong place to post, please let me know and I'll find the correct place to post it. Overall, great update!!
So I'm loving the new vehicle selection menu and the paint system, and many older cars' Silver paints are properly silver again, but is there any reason in particular why the ETK Frozen Dust still isn't quite "frozen" (i.e. matte/satin)?
Outdated mod(s). You can find it by launching the game with 5-10 mods first, then adding another 5-10 to your mods folder, and so on. When it breaks, it’s easy to go through the last 5-10 mods you added to find the culprit.
A few questions: - Are you launching the game using the official beamng launcher, or using a different method. - Have you been clearing cache? - Can you please reply the above questions and also paste a support ID number so I can do some quick checks? https://supportid.beamng.com/ Thanks!
Just a suggestion, it would be nice if the pressure ball could be shrunken more to fit inside the large cannon. At 50% size, the pressure ball is slightly too large to fit.
