Parts aren't technically connected. The same reason could explain why you can drive underwater if you rip the snorkel and place it above water
Check the driver setting of the steering wheel. On some models the driver adds friction or self-centering on top of the FFB from the game to reduce oscillation, find the setting and turn it down
Dude how do I get rid of this fucking wobbling?? I got the FFB strength set to 650 and the smoothing is at 10k, and it's still wobbling side to side, and LUT or CSV files just make it worse
Strength at 650 is the reason you're clipping FFB all the time, those are huge numbers that should only be used with very weak early steering wheels from 2 decades ago. This is why everything is out of control. I advice you go back to the default configuration, or that you follow our guide on how to tune FFB, here: https://documentation.beamng.com/su...setup/#force-feedback-configuration-guideline Do not use response curves until you have a working configuration first. Response curves are only meant for fine tuning FFB after it's already working well.
I got the FFB set just as the guide says, but the problem is that when drifting or oversteering, the wheel doesn't countersteer by itself, the car always spins out, it feels like the front tyres are riding on ice while the back ones are gripping the asphalt, and the only way I could fix that is by increasing the FFB strength, but I also get that wobbling, I see people drifting on BeamNG and their steering wheel countersteers as fast as a real car, and they don't seem to have that wobbling
They migth be abusing the side-force FFB option slider. It's not realistic but can do the job for drifting... if you are okay with incorrect FFB when the brakes lock wheels in a sideways corner entry or other similar situations.
The 1998 D15 V8 Crew Cab has the incorrect mirror on the left door. The D15 Crawler Crew Cab has incorrect info on its config page, with it saying it's Naturally Aspirated and Fuel Type being Gasoline when it has a turbo-diesel.
Related, I don't know if it’s a conflicting mod, but every d series config has the 5 speed manual shifter. Every one. And I cant unequip it.
it's been more than a month of people complaining the game is bearly playable because of this radial menu broken... what would it cost to make a quick hotfix?
the bug i'm talking about is a known and reported bug, and it occur on a non modded version with a cleared cache (I personnaly tried)
I want go give another big shout out to the devs for their constant development and increase in performance with each release. More specifically the performance with multiple AI cars spawned. Each version keeps getting better with higher FPS with tons of AI cars spawned, in fact the performance is increasing without the need for more cores. Example. Version 0.36 285K With only the 8 performance cores active Version 0.38 285K with only the 8 performance cores active Now you will notice I'm testing at 2 different resolutions, but since the game is CPU bottlenecked with a ton of traffic it doesn't matter, in this case now with the new 0.38 version I'm able to get better performance with a 5060Ti 8GB Keep up the great work the performance optimizations are great.
Just a few minutes ago, I launched the game in safe mode. Apparently, any mods downloaded externally wouldn't be deleted but all my externally downloaded mods were deleted after I exited safe mode. WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
