DX11 just sliced 5-10fps off my performance...

DX9 comparison was done just yesterday. My GPU is currently only an old HD 5770 I'm using for the time being while i get a new GPU, however it does support DX11. I understand it could be due to this though.

These are identical settings, I would run in full screen like advised if the game would let me go above 1680x1050 but 1080p only works in borderless.

 

Is there still a DX9 version included that I can use to compare to the DX11 version? Haven't played in a while and Steam automatically updated it so I don't have anything proper to compare.

 

So i logged on after update and when i got in game my vehicle was only the pedals and the steering wheel. really mad about it. i reinstalled the game and its still doing it.

Not sure if I completely missed how to do this, but the RPM LED's on my G27 don't do anything for any vehicle. Is this normal, is there a setting I can't find? I can't seem to find anything around the forums about anyone else having this issue.

I feel a slight FPS drop (from 55 to 50), also depending on a map. No other problems so far My specs are in the signature below, OS is Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit.

 

first off, great update guys! you work really fast for such a small developement team!

however, it seems that all the windows are indestructible now, they just bend.
anyone else have this problem?

I disabled the HDR and it removed the extreme bright.

 

The only problem I'm having is the new config for the D-15 not having textures in 2 places (the roof lights and the box thing on the bed).
I've already cleared my cache but that didn't do anything.

I can't turn mouse steering off.
If I remove the bindings it just stays on, meaning that I have to unplug my mouse, which is on the back of my PC.

 

I can only have no Anti Aliasing or 4x AA. If I select 1x or 2x it jumps to 4x automatically.

 

The ABS-function is to aggressive and the brakes of all cars are to weak

The braking distance is much too high.

I used the Hirochi Sunburst with ABS and tested several times full braking out of 100km/h (approx. 60mph) and I always got result between 53-60m.
Thats way to high. A normal car brakes in 32-40m at a speed of 100km/h.

The results without ABS are much better (Hirochi Rally version). You can get to around 40m braking distance out out a speed of 100km/h.

Both result are too high, especially for a sports car and especially because in most conditions you would have a shorter braking distance with ABS enabled in reality.

I think this i not necessarily a problem of the ABS implementation, but more of the braking power of the cars. they mostly have way to weak brakes. I don't know if american cars have weaker brakes than european and japanese ones, but I think they need to be adjusted to realistic levels.

Would be nice if you could fix this with one of the next updates. So that driving is even more realistic.

PS. the ESC implementation (both modes (regular and sport) is very nice and is very conformable with my real life experience. So very good work!

Found another bug:

After some time playing (10 minutes or so) most keyboard commands (for example R, CTRL+R or CTRL+Q) are not working anymore.
Also repositioning the car in free camera mode doesn't work most of the time.

PS: I play with XBOX 360 gamepad.

How can i enable led shift indicator on my g27 wheel?

Putting the D15 trailer on makes the brakes ineffective for me at least.

 

The game is completely unplayable now for me, the resolution is broken and none of the levels load and when they do the game freezes and wont closer unless i use task manager. how can i get a refund for this game.
edit: now no buttons work so i cant drive anything

 

D15 Offroad transfer case is not locked to 50/50 ratio...or was it ever? When front wheels are on a ground and rear wheels up in the air, it wont move. The rear wheels just spin. Or does it have open/visco/limited slip type of tranfer case?
