Thanks for the feedback! it makes it even more strange what could be wrong as it was working perfectly fine before the update. Maybe deleting everything and making a new clean install could help?
Bug: Sound is not correctly working if you have a 5.1 speaker setup. I have to manually set it to Stereo in the windows setting, so that BeamNG displays the audio signal correct on the two frontspeakers. Is it possible, that (as long as no 5.1 sound is implemented) BeamNG could automatically map its sounds to stereo instead of reading out the windows settings and displaying nonsense? Every other game I have (even older ones, which only support Stereo) don't have this problem. Only in BeamNG the sounds is broken.
Whenever I launch the game all my vehicles are transparent. (You cannot see the vehicle). This includes the default pickup that you spawn with! PLEASE HELP!!!!
What did you change on the rally covet? Its not nearly as fast or fun to drive now. I noticed it when I could no longer complete some jumps I had made. I can not achieve the same lap times as before either. Its so gutless I have to use a lower gear and it bogs down where previously it did not. It used to spin its wheels up into 3rd gear but now it struggles in 2nd. I don't like it. Booooooooooooo
Well, game seemed to "brick" the menus for me after changing parts around on the Sunburst. I could play the game and crash and respawn, but anytime I go to the menus they would be inactive. It seemed to have froze on when I was changing out the coilovers.
Hi When i start the game it crashes. I have deleted the game from my computer and installed it again but it still crashes Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 2,00GB DDR2 i know its terrible but it used to work and its all i got
@above Do you have Windows XP? If you do, then you have three choices. You can either upgrade to anything above XP (i.e. Windows 7) and hope that everything will work, abandon the game entirely or buy a new PC.
Tried a clean install, still get the very same problem. Overall it's a 20fps drop compated to any of the 4.0.x versions, and my own car is barely playable now at 19-20 fps, same as I get with the T65 for example.
Got a feature request: Please make a adjustable deadzone for every controller type and not only for mouse steering. It will make handling of the cars so much better, because it is easier to drive straightforward then, especially with a gamepad like my XBOX 360 gamepad. Thanks!
Thanks for the input, I wonder what could be wrong with this new update. Just downloaded the 4.0.5 backup version and got 50 fps again
Unable to replicate this problem. If you can describe the type of impact and vehicle configuration that would be helpful. Fixed for next release, should be same acceleration as before. Fixed for next release Fixed for next release
Has happened to me once before. Just tried to recreate it by dropping a metal box corner on the C pillar multiple times, couldn't seem to recreate it.
